So two of my absolute favourites, one exceptionally well-written show and a show that isn't one of my favourites but not as bad as people say?

It seems that a possible reason next year's sentai is based off trains is because it happens to coincide with the half-century anniversary of the Tokaido Shinkansen.

The what in the heck?

It's an actual high speed train line that runs from Tokyo Station to Shin Osaka Station. The train line started in 1964 it seems.

Dekaranger was mostly Arakawa, though, as he was the head writer. It looks like the shows Yokote did the main writing for were just Gekiranger and Goseiger.

Honestly, outside of my beloved Dekaranger, her resume doesn't inspire me. I couldn't stand what little I've seen of Magiranger and we all know my thoughts on Goseiger. Geki was good, but by the end of the series I wanted to strangle Jan so he'd stop ruining dramatic scenes with his babytalk.

I might be sitting this season out, too.

Considering there will be about seven months of Gaim left to go when Tokyuger debuts, I wouldn't hold my breath.

I was wrong. It seems Kobayashi Yasuko will be writing the script and Nakazawa will be directing according to this.

Another Kobayashi series! Super Sentai seems to like her. This shows too that Tokkyuger is likely to be a more serious Sentai than a light-hearted one, as all three of her Super Sentai were a bit on the dramatic side.

Hopefully she is doing more TimeRanger rather than Go-Busters. More Ryuki than Den-O. More Ryuki than Shinkenger. Okay, Shinkenger is a great series, but it stalls for several episodes in the middle of the show and the villains get little to no development.

I know this is years off but I had a question. How, in the name of Gosei, are you going to adapt this for an american audiance? Especially those suits. We might actually see Saban negotiate with Toei to skip a season.
