Honestly, I would have skipped Kyoryuger if I was going from a story point of view. You're going to have to shake a lot of Japanese culture and comedy character off of Kyoryuger to get it to fit into the Power Rangers mold.

They should at least follow Kyoryuger vs Gobuster's example and at least get Austin St John (Or even Steve Cardenas) and James Napier to appear out of the costumes for this, and get the rest of the respective MMPR and Dino Thunder cast members to record their lines for the suited fight scenes.

Though, that's all assuming that this IS true and Go-Busters is being skipped.

Who ever said they could swap the gaburevolvers for the morphin braces. You may just be a genius. It can't solve the issue of using a certain percentage of footage, but it does smooth the way for future attempts at cramming in the Go-busters and gets rid of the gun.

I'm hoping for a Dairanger-type skip. Despite filming new stuff costing more I watched an episode of Samurai once and I'm pretty sure I spotted an entire American in-suit battle, plus that weird zord piloting mode. If their rush to get Samurai out is anything to go by, I don't think Saban is above filming new shit if it means he can meet his footage quotient with Go-busters. Doesn't sound like they want to touch it, so maybe that's an incentive.

Y'know, reading the plot outline again, I have a theory of how this might work, if they use Go-Busters footage with Kyoryuger. It's pure fan wank but yeah.

What if the Kyoryuger suits, really are upgrades. I know everyone says there is no way for that to work, but if this is about the 12 Majestic Dinosaur Prisms, it could be perfectly possible that they have present day Ranger powers IE - Go-Busters suits which are just sort of tech based SWAT armour. And then they utilise the Ancient Prisms to gain even greater powers, and zords, which are much more fantastical and magic based. I'm pretty sure if they do it that way, it will both work in joining the two shows together and fill the percentage quota as well. So I'm not saying it's a dumb half and half split, but I'm saying the ten Kyoryuger suits - and their subsequent upgrades and variations - could work as upgrades ALA Kamen Rider for our core five Go-Busters, as they collect the Prisms over the course of the series.

There is another way to work in Go-Busters and Kyoryuger.

What if they start with Go-Busters being a task force specifically designed to protecting Enetron.What if the only way to get the Prisms to work is by powering them with Enetron?

I can totally see the first part of the season being Go-busters protecting the Enetron and trying to reenergize the prisms and Enter being the "Bounty Hunter" tasked with stopping them from bringing the prisms back.

First season ends with the Go-busters stopping Enter from stopping them and successfully bringing the prisms back to power,but they find out that the Deboss Legion is the group that hired the bounty hunter (Enter) to stop them.They get overpowered of course and new new powers.(There are 5 rangers at the end of Go-Busters,5 at the beginning of Kyoryuger)

This is all just speculation and thought,but I can totally see them doing it that way.

Yeah I don't get why everyone is getting so butthurt, the two seasons are going to be smashed together regardless to some degree or extent. As much as everyone hates Go-Busters on here apparently, Saban isn't going to skip a money making opportunity and from what I hear things like Ace were a great seller so you can be damn sure Ace is going to be in there somewhere. So you may as well give up now on the idea of a full Kyoryuger adaptation.

Has that been confirmed officially (i.e. not through a forum)? Because, if it hasn't, I'm clinging to the hope that they just switched Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters with Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger in adaptation order.

No, but Saban is contracted to use a certain portion of each franchise and they cannot be skipped. There are people contemplating that they've signed a new deal, but it sounds like straw clutching to me.

I'm looking forward on what Bandai America plans to put out for the toyline. At least Bluefin can release the Kyoryuger figuarts sooner then later.

Ya know, I'm wondering if they're going to cram Go-Buster's adaptation into a shorter series this year, assuming they don't take another six month break with Super Megaforce.

They could probably pull it off, though it wouldn't be pretty. So they'd knock out Go-Busters and jump right into Kyoryuger next year so they can catch up with Super Sentai again.

I doubt that's the case, since they haven't even announced a title or anything about the Go-Busters adaptation (which they really should by now if they're doing it in the ending half of this year), but you never know.

Go-busters is not being adapted, they are skipping to Kyoryuger, but the suggestion (or rather, current plan from the mouths of insiders themsevles) is that Go-buster footage will be utilised in some way as per the contract.

This is no hoax. They wouldn't announce Dino Charge only to cram in a totally unannounced Go-buster adpation the season before it.

Some of the comments from the casual people are pretty mix on FB. I see people on the Power Rangers page saying "Awesome! It's nice to see Dinosaurs again", "We did Dinosaurs twice. Try some new ideas for once!" and "If they don't bring back Tommy then I won't watch it".

I don't even remotely get this. High school being done one million times is fine and nostalgic, but bringing back the dinosaur theme after around EIGHT YEARS or so, is a problem. Not to mention MMPR was barely about Dinosaurs anyway.

I just realized some thing we all know koichi sachamoto worked on power rangers and now done course and kyoryuger. What if he talked to toei about this getting adapted to Power rangers and he work with saban to make it awesome along with a might include green ranger I an cross over

I'd forgive it back in the 90's or even around 2004 (PRDT), but it's 2014! Super Sentai should be a bit more well known to nostalgic PR fans.

The thing a lot of sentai fans can't handle is most Power Ranger fans don't CARE if sentai exists. Power Rangers uses sentai fights, groovy, but it's still its own show so there is no command to go out and see what context Japan had the fights in. They aren't an exclusive pairing, they are two separate franchises so one can be enjoyed exclusively. I honestly find the sentai fans who are like RECOGNISE THE SENTAI ITS THE ORIGINAL much more ignorant than Power Rangers fans who are ONLY Power Rangers fans.

I think Gosei Wonder meant the fact that the people on the page seemed to be complaining to Saban for making another Dinosaur themese seasons when we've had two before. Though since, Saban did kind of choose Kyoryuger for whatever reason I guess they can sorta pin the balme on them.

All I was mad about was the fact that they were upset over getting another dinosaur season, when the last two we've had before were a while ago. One of them not even being really focused on dinosaurs.

I'll give you the "Sentai-purists" being annoying thing though. But y;know what? I'd say the people who constantly spout that the MMPR era was the best era no matter what are just as irritating.

Same here but what bugs me are the sentai fans that apsalutly hates power rangers and go on saying it bad ruined and there mess up my fave sentai and evry thin. I'm like dude with out power rangers you would not be in to sentai in the first place

And yeah, I hate that this "twenty year anniversary" (hah!) has been drenched in MMPR and we're straight off into another dino season so Saban can keep chuggin' the MMPR chicken. I also hate Power Rangers fans who say the Disney era sucked, the only people who say that have never seen a PR show after MMPR.

I think doing Kyoryuger now then sooner seems like a good idea with Dinosaurs coming back in pop media. We had Walking with Dinosaurs a few months ago, a new Godzilla movie coming out in May, the Dinobots in Transformers 4, Jurassic Park 4 next June and Pixar's next movie is a Dinosaur movie.

You've hit the nail on the head exactly. Saban Brands has some pretty experience marketing/pr guys on staff I'm lead to believe, so I very much doubt they would have noticed this resurgence in dinos and not done anything to cash in on it. The press release says it all really doesn't it :D

One season too late and they may be riding the tail of the fad. So getting rid of Go-busters is beginning to make a hell of a lot more sense.

If rumours are to be believed, I personally think they're using Kyoryuger as a sort of dino-themed book end, a "it began with dinosaurs and a new era will started with them to" sort of thing. Us creative types love that kind of cheese.

If so, I could totally see them coming up with a new theme. Surely the mmpr thing has been riden this long to cement the franchise and.. well, simply because its still an anniversary... apparently.

I want them to be as far removed from Kyoryuger as possible. No shitty gag episodes, no under cutting the drama with juvenile antics, a team with balanced members that all stand on their own and no dancing henshin.

I actually thought the henshin hero stuff in Kyoryuger was amazing when it wasn't making stupid physical gags. But I agree the mecha was awful, as much as I hate cardboard robos the fact that the Kyoryuger mecha actually looked like plastic was even worse.
