Sorry about the crit at the end but it wouldn't have mattered anyway. Gardevoir would've taken 83-98% from the EQ and Lucario or Talonflame could've finished off Gardevoir with their priority moves.

I thought mega Gardevoir should have outsped mamoswine. Gardevoir in mega was at base 100 with speed investment. Weird.

You don't get the Mega's speed until the turn after you Mega evolve. Mamoswine and Gardevoir both have base 80 speed. My Mamoswine is fully invested in speed(252 EVs and Jolly)

Mine was timid and 252 in speed. I guess it was a speed tie either way.

It was pretty slow, and had some bumps along the way, but I had fun in my matches. I hope you all did too!

...Enough to want to again. Because I already plan to after ORAS releases. :) Hopefully the feedback here will help improve that one and we can get even more people involved!

We need to see how broken some of the Mega Evolutions of ORAS are first lol. I think we can agree that Mega Lucario should be banned in the next one too.

All legendaries should be banned IMO. Just as a broad generalization since we apparently forgot a few *cough*LatiosThunderous*cough*

If you know their weaknesses, they're easy to take out.

Latios shouldn't be banned. Latios/Latias holding Soul Dew should. Latios isn't as overpowered as you think it is.

I think the only legendaries you'd have to worry over are, like, the birds, Regirock, and Cresselia, right?

The point is that they're still legendaries though which makes them better statistically than most pokemon. It's just my opinion but I think that battling with legendaries gives the player an unfair advantage. Like I said, my opinion but I do feel like the rule should be made

Legendaries like Latios, Cresselia, and Thundurus aren't banned in officially sanctioned tournaments. Hence I saw no need to here. They're not completely unstoppable.

But that is why I asked for feedback before we started. Received very little.

I still find it funny that they ban Phione.

Well if that's the case i don't see why we should ban them.

I don't think I fought whoever was throwing around a Latios, correct me if I'm wrong, but I did fight the Thundurus. It was a nuisance but I took it down and it wasn't exactly the cause of my second loss all by its lonesome. That being said, I wouldn't oppose bans of those either. The number of Mega Lucarios being thrown around was more disappointing than being aggravating to fight, really, but I can see why a ban would be requested. I just wouldn't want a fun thing like this to get bogged down with Smogon tier nonsense.

Maybe the next one could be VGC rules, Kalos-bred (and ORAS where applicable) only with a few helpful Mega Stone bans. Obviously running an event between now and ORAS would make that easier, since we don't know precisely what else to expect yet when there's possible Hoenn Dex additions.
