Wasn't Sandayuu more of a mentor for the Kakurangers?

I love how we get a humanoid mech as the main base again. I've always like those ever since Dairanger.

He was their insurance policy really; he would show up and bail them out when they really needed it. They didn't really have a mentor, but there were people looking out for them.

I have taken the liberty of translating the bios for the Ninningers to the best of my Japanese skills. Hope this helps folks.

Igasaki Takaharu/Akaninger: The type to take action than think it out. He always tries to be the big brother figure leading his team members, but sometimes can be idle about it. Even if he makes the wrong choice due to his overt caring for others, he is an optimist whose goes by the motto "it will work out somehow".

Kato Cloud Yakumo/Aoninger: He has lived in England for a long time studying western wizardry, but returned to Japan. He is the well-raised young master/gentleman type, and an affectionate cool guy. However, in actuality he can be easily angered and also can be an airhead sometimes.

Matsuo Nagi/Kininger: A young man whose friendly personality is his feature. Normally he looks like he is not thinking about anything, but in actuality he is very observant about things, and his conduct on life is good. He always likes to plan for his future, so he likes to get various licenses making him a license maniac. Could it be that being a ninja is also one of those licenses?

Igasaki Fuuka/Shironinger: The hard-working, pure, and prospective girl. She is Takaharu's little sister and her firm personality might have been from her older brother. By default she is cheerful, but when she is depressed she can get very depressed.

Momochi Kazumi/Momoninger: She does not express her feelings that much. A genius-type girl. She loves science and is well-versed in mechanical things, but sometimes surprises others by saying something invective which contradicts her outward appearance. Yet she does seem to have an effeminate side to her as well.

I pretty much called all of their personalities correctly from the teasers :lol

SKET DANCE, it's a comedy about odd job problem solvers in a school. The manga artist was an assistant for Gintama's creator pre-debut. And during the course of its run it had a collabo with Gintama. :D

Kazumi sounds like she could be pretty fun.

So now knowing each of their bios it explains why their mecha is as rag tag as every 90s kids sports movie teams.

Sounds like a really likeable team to me. Akaninger sounds like my soulmate, lol xD

Since this may not need a new thread, here's the glimpse of mecha's cockpit.
My thought: The room is smaller compare to other series' cockpit. Where'll they put 6th ranger in with this setup? It'd be crowded as hell.

Don't 6th rangers usually have their own mecha? And when that mecha combines with the core team's mecha they get a new cockpit, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I see, so which ever mech forms the head, that ranger will sit in the throne. Interesting idea. So one person will basically control Shurikenjin and the others are there for support.

A gimmick that is back after two decades since Ohranger.

Yea, I just thought recent Sentai series usually use the core team's cockpit for that kind of combination: Shinkenger, Goseiger, Gokaiger, Kyoryuger, ToQGer as examples. However this is a new serie so anything can happen, with this kind of cockpit, a new one is not some thing luxury that the crew can't afford to have and most likely will be happened.

Well, considering GoseiKnight was just a wall decoration in the small Goseiger cockpit when they combined, I think that option also exists. As for Toqger, Akira mostly just appeared in the main robo's cockpit when one of the Toqgers wasn't there, so who knows what they'll come up with for Ninnin.

They are grabbing those bars ext to them which seem to be the joysticks they are using.

Wow, they actually sold the ninja gear they wore in the promo? Nice.
The guy says that for one of the freebies, Kyoryuger gave out jyudenchis, for ToQger they gave out resshas, but this year all they got was a hologram sheet with a QR code on the back where they make you sign up to get the ninshuriken.
