Despite the extra cost, I find myself hoping that most of these new Gaim figures aren't retail so I don't have to fight for them. I'm still kicking myself for sleeping through Kachidoki's pre-order.

Jam is the one I was most excited for so it's great to a good picture of it. I love it and hope its easy to get when(if) it comes out.

I honestly don't see anymore future Gaim releases receiving a retail treatment. Both Zangetsu Shin and Duke are TWE, so that likely means the last two energy Riders are TWE. After that, you get a couple of one-off or rarely seen forms like Suika Arms, Ryugen Yomi and Jam, and movie Riders. I think the only one with even a chance at a retail release is Knuckle, but that's extremely slim.

Exactly. All of the exclusives so far have been much more important characters. There's no way any future Gaim Riders, should they actually see release, will be anything but web exclusives.

I honestly don't see any reason to own Jam. He was a crappy one shot character that did absolutely nothing but get his ass handed to him when push came to shove. Not only that, but he had no development whatsoever.

Me too. There's characters that I think are utter crap but I like their designs. The main villains from Dragon Ball GT come to mind in my opinion. I will likely end up picking Jam when he goes up for pre-order.

Hello Drive, you magnificent bastard. Still wish we got a better look at the tire change in action (even though it's pretty easy to guess how it works). Nonetheless he is looking nice.

Drive looks great. Don't know if I'll get him yet but the show has grown on me and the figure looks great so I probably will. This has been an awesome few days in reveals.

Jam looks a lot better than I expected. For someone I wasn't overly bothered about getting a figure I definitely want him as part of my collection now.

I'm on the fence. I'd much rather have Bujin Gaim, personally.

I had totally forgotten Bujin Gaim was coming out. I don't remember if I ordered him or not.

S.H.F Drive looks very good, but I'll probably stick to the Tire Koukan Series since so many Metal Heroes figuarts are coming, i'm not that wealthy.

I ordered Bujin Gaim, as I'm a Gaim completist, but it's kind of on a whim at the time. I'm really glad I did. He'll look great next to Jam. I hadn't even thought of that.

So how exactly does the Tire Koukan effect work with Figuarts? Can you actually swap the tire there or will fans have to buy a new Drive for every Tire??

There's a separation edge just above the left shoulder and just below the right arm pit. The tires split completely in two at those points and you can swap new ones out.

Assuming that we get a majority of these figures out to the public. This has been a really exciting showing from Tamashii Nations this year. I would streak across an NFL game if it got me 100% confimation that i would get Metalder and Speilban next year. They were easily on the top of my wish list of figures i never thought i would get. So seeing a prototype puts me slightly closer.

As someone who wants to have his DaiRangers and Jetmen completed, I'm going to have to go in the opposite direction. Don't get me wrong, there was a lot of great things shown, as I want all of the rider bikes, but as a fan of specific series, it was disappointing. None of the two above, no Kiva, no Wild Card Chalice, Joker Undead, Ibuki, Zanki, Renewal of Gatack, etc.

Another issue is that a lot of them will either not actually come out or be web exclusives.

The Baron was already established on the previous page to just be a photo from the show itself not a toy.

And again, how can you say this was a poor showing? Simply because figures you want that have no indication of being released at this time weren't shown? This is by far one of the best showings if not the best Tamashii Nations has ever had to offer. A plethora of figures that really run the gamut from Ultras, to showa & heisei riders, to classic sentai, to a ton of metal heroes not to mention the excellent variety of non-toku figures on display. This was a fantastic show. There's no need to be so negative about it.

Drive looks great. I do hope that the shift cars won't be a issue on his brace. I feel like the cars will be so tiny that if you lose them then good luck on finding them.
