This hi-res image at long last solidly confirms every single piece of information we discovered last week. On more than one occasion on more than one other website we were accused of lying about the Ninninger toy info we discovered. Vindication is a great feeling :lol

This mecha is so much to take in, IT'S AMAZING!
Even if I had zero interest in the show, I would want that mecha for the sheer play value. It just hits all the right buttons! |
............ Ok when is it acceptable to throw money at my computer screen.... I WANT THIS ENTIRE MECHA LINE, AND WE ONLY HAVE THE FIRST MAIN MECHA AND 2 AUXILIARIES... IM SO EXCITED FOR 2015!!!
|
That's neat! The way it sits in the chest reminds me of how Brave robots combine.
|
Interesting, I wonder if the BoA style figures have proved popular with collectors in Japan?
Mecha looks amazing though, I can't wait to see how the minipla turns out. |

Big question on my mind: are the required Shuriken for all ShuriKenJin's configurations sold separately or will they come with the Mecha?
If they make collecting the roleplay items essential to complete Mechs again I'm out. Dont care how good it looks; no way I could afford that. |
The Shuriken for the Roleplay toys dont look to be the same that are used for the mecha.
|
Heh, so it's more than just Shinobimaru that sits in the throne... In concept I thought it pretty silly, but seeing it in good detail... It still is, but it works. I do like how these look.
And I actually feel like giving the show a try. Haven't watched Sentai in a while. |
I am loving everything about that mecha. The transforming shiruken role-play weapon looks neat, too. This is the first time in a while that I've been truly excited by a sentai toyline.
|
I like the changer; it might be a little small (there goes hopes for BoJ's megablade) but it still looks nice. I think the mechs look great and the frog blaster came out of nowhere. Now we just need a shark/dolphin and a lion and we are set for all the mech ideas.

That Frog Blaster has to be my favorite thing ever

Already posted a short essay on RB, so I'm just going to paste it here to save time:
Lots to take in here. I love how over the top everything is. They aren't hiding, and they prefer to make things showy. The sword changer is cool, and yes it may be small, but it's a freaking sword changer people!! How cool is that?! The frog gun literally makes no sense, but I want it. The giant shuriken is cool with the 3 modes and the 3 colors that also correspond with the buttons on the changer. Maybe the sword can transform into that shuriken via TV magic. The regular shuriken are hilarious with the ninjas faces on it, but I don't think this group would have it any other way. Looks like pink is getting the shaft though. The multi element thing is interesting and I look forward to seeing that play out on screen. BOA was contacted to make the figures I see. I like them, but no females again? The mecha are cool, and a little weird looking. Overall though, a really solid design that has some depth to it. The shuriken head is brilliant, and I'm still hopeful the other 3 ninjas get in on that action too. Haha, we get clear shots of the new stuff, and the best shots we had at the time(Paon and UFO) go blurry. Nice. I think I'm going to love this year. |
Well...FUCK. Now I want all in on this line -__-
|
'Insert mad cackling that steadily increases in volume and insanity here'
Oh I am definitely getting this, and I am hoping with all of my heart that the mini-pla version is just as good. Combining this with a great deal of articulation? Pure gold. |
Oh I'm sorry, I'm new to this website.
|
Sigh.
My poor wallet. |
Damn you Bandai! You couldn't get my money with ToQ so you came back with a vengeance with Ninninger!
|
Sadly the BOA-ificiation of the aciton figures ensures I won't be wasting money on them. Unlike last years Norikae Change ToQgers which fit in pretty well with 6" displays and aren't roided out. I was ready to buy whatever figures I could as place holders but I'm not buying those stubby little pieces of junk.
The mecha however ALL OF THEM! I wil go all in on this line like nothing else I've done since Goaranger. |

I'm really liking the Ninninger toys. They look great! :D
|
Wow the Megazord is dumb. Also, those are some deffinite BOA figures for Red, Blue and Yellow.
|
I love the suit designs but the mecha looks a bit like a cluster.
cant ait for the show though cause I am sick and tired of TOQ |
Looks like I have some Ninja stuff to purchasificate.
|
This entire line (minus the ninnin action figures) is ridiculously promising and ambitious based on where we were this year with ToQger and hell even where Kyoryuger was. ToQger lacked complexity and size, Kyoryuger had size and electronics but again outside of the main robo components (anything that wasn't an arm) lacked true complexity. This line appears to be well rounded in all those regards. Each component is incredibly unique and versatile, integrates the series gimmick, and at least most of them have electronics. This is a killer killer line.
|
The mecha looks great, and I love that it has multiple forms and is a mashup of everything. Vehicles, animals, and humanoid mecha. I still am wondering why most of the weapons and gear only feature yellow, red, and blue. Are white and pink going to be part time sentai members or are they just called in for special missions?
Also....totally can't unsee this.... https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...f72b1ae474c913 |

Well at the very least, Shurikenjin looks like fun. I'm not at all intent on diving all-in on the line like some people are, but more power to those that want it.
The muscle-bound figures are strange but it's not like this is the first time BOJ has done muscles. As I recall, the Dekaranger figures were pretty bad in that department. Bulging abs and dorito silhouettes and the whole deal. These are bearable. |
For me personally, I don't care for the combined form at all. The ninja robo just sitting there with the legs sticking out looks odd. It wouldn't be bad if there was something to fold over to make the chest look flush, but right now it looks as though it has a beer belly.

The more I look at these pictures, the more I debate whether this will finally be the year I plunge into the world of DX mecha.
(He says still needing to buy a DX ToQOh to go with all those Legend Ressha) |

I can understand how someone can think that this line is too much, too soon and it looks like it will only get busier in the near future (second quarter). And think of all the sentai shurikens that will come out; especially Kakuranger and Hurricaneger. |
It might be too soon to say (I did a total 180 on Kyoryuger and Toqger) but that mech setup really doesn't appeal. I'm not digging the mix of animal/humanoid/vehicular themes for the individual mechs, it looks like the articulation will be weak on the individual mechs too (also, FIST KNEES), and in both combined modes the giant hats look dreadful. I'm also not a massive fan of the throne-chest structure. The Drago mode looks dreadful (really, if you're going to have it just be a hunched up robot at least make the head look up).
I do like the look of Paonmaru, (though the trunk winds up in an unfortunate place on the mini-robot) but it can't save the combined mode, and UFOmaru looks interesting. I like the Buddyroid-type idea but the execution is sadly weak. It’s like they decided to do Magiking again (complete with swappable chests) but got it utterly wrong. |

What I do not understand is why the karakuri hengen is only for aka ao and ki. the Ninjaichibanto looks like a decent mod of the Hayatemaru with a beyblade attached... Gosh those shinobi shurikens look like beyblades ever since someone brought it up....

Not that precedence is an excuse anyway. But my big issue here is specifically things like the red and blue mechs here having feet that are cast together in one piece of plastic. They look like over-sized ranger keys. And while these pictures are too small to confirm I'm sure that the red mech's arms are stuck in that awkward 90 degree angle too. |
