Your painting looks excellent, I'm pretty sure I want to buy it and paint it now. But I just bought a video game, so I'd better wait.

Also, I never finished Ace and didn't even begin Gorilla, and may still need a couple more coats on rabbit. If I wasn't planning on playing said video game tonight that would be a good thing to work on.

Got round to combining them earlier, and Great Go-Buster is a pain in the ass to transform (a hell of a lot of taking apart bits and reassembling), his chest sticks out half and mile and bits kept falling off as I was transforming him. Pretty much everything I hated about Go-BusterOh.

But damn does he look good. I'm not even that bigger fan of the design but the minipla really does have an epic and imposing feeling about it. After swearing that I would never put the minipla into Go-BusterOh combination again, I could see myself displaying them in Great Go-Buster mode once I have proper shelf space again.

BC-04 and SJ-05 have nicely surprised me. Despite the lame coloured plastic, these 2 are definitely the stand out ones in the line so far.

The Engine-oh I got came out of the G9 box set. So it's got these cool sparkly labels I love that thing!

Mine is the HK release, which is noticeably floppier than all my other miniplas. Sucks because it means the combinations suffer as a result too.

Cheers man. Fs-0O is actually pretty cool, the tadpole firing gimmick was carried over which surprised me, and for whatever reason he doesn't actually have the fold out hands like the DX version/ minipla RH-03.

Now assuming they release nothing after the Lion mech I will have actually completed a line in minipla form =p

Clear Go-Buster Oh!

Meh. I don't see the appeal of a clear, non show accurate version. Give me a metallic sticker version like with the Shinkenger and Goseiger models, and then I'll buy it(I'd ask for a correct colors version like with Gokai-Oh too, but the Buster Machines are actually really good about this).

Ehhh. I was more than willing to go all in with the Gokaiger minipla and get the clear GokaiOh, but I have no desire whatsoever to own this.

For those who do though, I'm sure it'll make a damn good display piece.

Parts that required very little mods I started painting, I'm doing this by hand with Tamiya arylics…going for a metallic finish.

I had a very unfortunate accident with the sword. I thought the handle was part of the runner, and I nearly clipped the handle clean off…the handle looked pretty crushed by the time I realized this, but I fixed it using a piece of left over runner and cement.

Has anyone tried panel-lining on these with any success? it seems like the Go-buster minipla could use some,especially Ace on the red parts.

Those fine tipped Gundam markers should work, might also be able to do it with some paint a toothpick.

Finished up building FS-0O yesterday. Haven't had a chance to take pics or combine him with the others yet but I'm more impressed with the little guy than I thought I would be. The sub mode is a little pointless but the awesomeness of the frog mode makes up for it.

Check CS TOys, they usually sell complete sets of the mecha without having to buy a whole box, that's were I ended up getting Ace from.

Just got my first Sentai candy toys and I'm hooked. Building and stickering them was so much fun, and I really like the added articulation you get over the DX toys.

BTW, I've never ever seen pictures of candy toy Ha-Oh where people move the feet to the second ball joint. It's not in the instructions, but otherwise what would it be for? It gives him a much larger foot base in the back for stability and has the bonus of lessening the ridiculous clown shoe look.

I also like to unpeg Ika, turn him around and plug him into the otherwise useless peg on the back of Ushi. It really seems intentional, and prevents the backpack from moving out from under him, making him even more stable.

Anyway, like I said, I'm hooked! Ordered the full set of Gobusters minipla and I can't wait for LT-06!

Samurai HaOh is on my list of Minipla to get. It's a shame about Kyouryu-Oh. I already have the Engine-Oh G9 set(with it's awful stickers which led me to start painting these things), and would love to complete G12, but not for $60...

I showed that feature on my review on tfw2005 but tbh it doesnt make a big deal of difference to me. Samurai Haoh is nice. At least the minipla. Much better than the DX.

Yeh The Gobusters minipla aint bad if you like the aesthetics. LT-06 is gonna be sweet (Just the individual forms).

I also have mini-pla HaOh but am planning on painting the entire thing. I finished ShinkenOh when I broke my Saru Origami and haven't had the motivation to move on to another set. HaOh has just been sitting assembled but mostly unpainted/no decals for a while now. Also not looking forward to trying to match that lavender color on Ika Origami.
...and then I also have Kanzen GokaiOh to paint.

Very fun set. Can't wait for LT-06. I will find a way to combine all of them! Though I wish they had just done a remold of the gorilla so we can have Lioh with frog and remold gorilla.

I will have it. I will make sure that this is the first Minipla line that I will have every Mech from. (When I had my metallic Hurricanger set, I only had Senpuujin and Gouraijin and Fuuraimaru, no Tenkuujin.)
