I'd say it's decently priced. |

Then again, it'd be kinda impossible to afford them anyways. :lol |

So, I went to Wal*Mart today in hopes of snagging a Grimlock. Had the opportunity, but passed it up for 3 Mini-Cons. One name caught my attention and I had to have it. Plus I got 3 MC's for the price of 1 Grimlock....
|
And I thought my camera was bad...Oh wait, it still is.
But I'm having a hard time figuring out who you picked up. |
Ratbat, Sandsting, and Velocirazor. All 1 step transformations, but I saw the name Ratbat and had a twinge of nostalgia.
|
So has anyone here ever owned any of the little Kabaya model kits? I hadn't had too much interest in them before, but I ordered the Seacons the other day since they're one of my favorite combiner teams. The only other model kits I've ever really built are Minipla, which these seem more or less comparable to. I'm looking forward to putting this set together and seeing how they compare.

And here they are with all of their little add-on things.
|
Cool, cool. They look pretty nice. I wish they weren't one step, or I'd probably be more interested in them.
As for the models, I hear they're fairly basic. I've never owned one, personally, but just by looking at pics online, they don't seem too shabby. They look about on par with, possibly a little better than, the Sentai mech models Bandai puts out. |
The little additions to Sandsting are shark head halves. You can take them off and out them together to actually form a little purple shark head.

Now that you mention it, Velocirazor has a cannon piece that looks like a sharks tail. And two of the additions on Sandsting look like side fins. But their different colors...

So, has there been a modern/updated version of Blaster released?

SO it seems the live-action Transformers films might be getting a spinoff animated movie.
http://deadline.com/2015/09/transfor...-5-1201531918/ |
I'm not terribly excited about that.
Mainly because I've lost so much interest in the movie universe that it's hard to have any emotion beyond "Neat." |
Yeah, I'm all for animated movies, but I really don't like the live-action movie universe at all. Still, hopefully it performs well enough that they decide it's worth doing more projects like this (Animated adaptation of LSOTW please!).

So does anyone remember the first MP Hot Rod/Rodimus?
We could be getting a new MP mold around the MP Lambo/Fairlady sizes. http://news.tfw2005.com/2015/09/19/m...e-works-301558 |
Not bad, but if we're talking movie Transformers I rather want Galvatron :(
And prototype pics of the Boss Ape please. |

I just want any Decepticons. That aren't repaints of the Autobot cars.
Galvatron does top that list though. |
there was scan floating around of new mp hot rod
|
|
Hot rod looks ok the old chest of original hot rod could of been used on the new one and finally a decepticon
|
I'm really excited. We finally get another Decepticon that isn't a Seeker and it's Shockwave?!
Totally pleased with that. Plus Hot Rod doesn't look that bad IMO. Even if I got him I'd still be tempted to get MP09 for a Rodimus to boot. |

I've avoided getting MP Rodimus till now because of all the horror stories of it exploding into plastic shrapnel...glad I held off.
|
Rodimus 2.0 looks a little top heavy but Shockwave seems like all aces.
Really can't wait to see how these look in color. |
Both of these look great. I never owned the original Masterpiece Rodimus, so I'll definitely be getting this one.
I'm much more excited for Shockwave though, it's great to finally get another Decepticon. Quakewave has been a great substitute up to this point, but I'm looking forward to getting the official version of the character. |
Masterpiece Update:
Hot Rod is MP-28, Release February 2016, 8000¥. http://i.imgur.com/MHtf4aP.jpg Shockwave is MP-29, Release March 2016, 16800¥. http://i.imgur.com/WbNfKHl.jpg |

Yeah Takara really did well with these two. I probably won't buy Hot Rod, but he looks perfect. I'm really excited about Shockwave, I didn't expect his color to be so light but I really like it. Looks pretty cool in gun-mode too.
|
Can shock wave be good to use as a base remould for a new megatron due to legs look like it can be use for megs
|
I need to see how much they've changed on this new Hot Rod first.
Want to make sure they reworked/removed all the major QC issues from the last release. |
