Yeah, but I still want the movie to do well. I want a good movie and I would like to see Power Rangers become more mainstream if the movie does well. I mean Transformers and TMNT became bigger and more mainstream franchises thanks to movies.

So when is the right time to release this movie? Because from this year until 2019/2020, the slate is going to be jam packed with superhero movies no matter where you go. And considering January is a deadzone, there's literally nowhere to go. May? Gonna get eaten alive by GOTG 2. June? Wonder Woman's got that on lock. October? Steam rolled by Gambit. The next year? Good luck competing with infinity War, Black Panther, Captain marvel, Flash and Aquaman.

March seems like a good month for the movie. If the movie does well enough then a sequel could be out by March 2019 or 2020. March is normally view as the kick off month for movies before the summer starts.

Since Naomi (pink) & Becky (yellow) are singers, they should do a duet - make a song together, for a power rangers movie soundtrack.

Larry Lam is stunt coordinating for the film. He did stunts for Deadpool, Ant-Man and a whole lot more.

Hiroo Minami, who has done stunts for the tv series, also works for Hitz International. I wonder if he'll work on the film, too.

This is so so so great.

I am loving all the casting. No names for the rangers, a nice established actress for Rita. Now I want some good physical prostetic/mocap actors for the monsters (I would say Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje for Goldar and get Doug Jones to play a monster) and an established actor for Zordon (me personally? Bryan Cranston. He did work on Power Rangers and I think he'd make a great Zordon).

My personal opinion, yeah. He is connected to the franchise but not a former ranger, he could pull off the grave voice and I feel that he could give weight to Zordon when he speaks of the power coins and their history.

I assume Zordon would be HEAVILY created via CGI so I am mostly looking for a good voice.

Fun trivia, he was a voice for one of the monsters of the week during MMPR.

I was wondering how he was connected to the franchise.

He's also why Billy's last name is Cranston :p
...Or it's just sheer coincidence...

He voiced Snizard and Twin Man in Season 1.

Cranston is a really good actor, I'll give you that, but I can't imagine him as Zordon. That said, I have no real suggestions for who they should get for him. Maybe Alfred Molina?

Maybe but his voice might be too high-pitched. Zordon can't have a booming deep voice, ala James Earl jones, but he also needs to have a certain weight to it.

I knew I'm not the only one thinking Bryan Cranston should be Zordon.

The cast looks good so far in my opinion.

Oh I LOVE those Angel Grove PD cars, good to see they have at least one Charger. This gives me small hope we will see an actual police force in the movie.

They'll probably be just as effective as the police in the Blues Brothers :p

Saw the EW pic, I'm lovin' the cast, especially Pink and Black. I still hope Black is Adam even though it's pretty much confirmed he's Zack.

I can picture the scene where our nerdy character boards the bus. Everyone is eyeing him down, making quiet taunts and mocking him as he slowly steps his way to the back of the bus as everyone quietly laughs at him. He sits down, head looking down as something is thrown at hits him on the head. He doesn't respond, of course, as some douchy looking guy chews gum with his mouth open as he mocks him before turning away, and the bus moves on.

If I knew that a Power Rangers movie was being filmed at my school while I was being sent off on break...well, that'd be one way to make me actually want to go back. :P
