I personally think it got even better later on, especially once Haruka joined the extermination team. But it really does suffer a bit from the "We don't know if we can even make a second season"-syndrome, as some things during the finale seem rather sloppy.

Like the final confrontation between Haruka and Jin didn’t satisfy me at all. I really wonder if the second season can finish the story properly.

I know it wasn't addressed to me, that's not really what I was referring to. I was saying I don't see what you were trying to say in your older post about knowing he was nothing but an expendable character because he didn't look like the Riders, since you later said that every character is expendable. If every character is expendable, then what's the point of saying that? And besides, Sigma, who *does* look like the Riders, died really quickly, so it's not like their appearance has anything to do with relevance or expendability. I just don't understand what your original point was.

The show hobbled a bit during the second half of story but I that was still an enjoyable confrontation between Alpha and Omega. I am interested to see just where this story goes. Will Haruka's ideals remain infallible or will it take another turn and turn him into the true threat against mankind?

Here's hoping they getter a better budget for Season 2 and finally teach the Extermination Squad proper tactics.

Binge watching the show, and I find that Haruka's mother is hot. What the hell is wrong with me.

That being said, I checked the Amazonz monster page at Kamen Rider wiki and it says the group is lead by Amazon Omega, which got me thinking, would it be interesting to reverse the roles of our main character? Like the monster's leader is a good guy but the 'villain' of the story, and Jin is the 'heroic' one even though he went full psycho in the finale.

What I meant by my original post was that seeing as he didn't look like Alpha or Omega. (or has a belt for that matter) That he was nothing special and only serves as a plot device. Therefor being nothing more then a expendable character. Then when I and my fellow forum member had a discussion on me attaching that label to that character. I merely informed him that all of the characters are expendable actually. That at any point in time anybody can get killed off. (except for the main riders who if are destined for death, won't occur until around the last couple of episodes)

Yeah, Sigma did look like the main two Amazons. But Sigma was a bad guy and they always get killed anyway. So that's no surprise there.

Now especially seeing how Mamoru didn't return to the team after that heart felt reassembly of them in his honor. They didn't kill him off this season. Seems like the writers still have some more use for him.

Well I just wrapped this show up. It took a while for it to warm up on me, but it eventually did warm up on me and I enjoyed it. I'm really excited to see season 2 now. I wonder if the gold armlet is linked to a final form. This is Kamen Rider, so I wonder if when Haruka puts that armlet on if it'll give him a more powerful form.

Honestly to me all the fake blood at the end was a bit much. Like I understand it in the fight scenes for the show, but here it was just so stupid to watch. The opening they have for Amazon Video is so much better, because it doesn't practically doesn't exist.

Problems with the opening:
1) They eat the two important girls in their life....that happens never in the series cause both are important side characters
2)Why show them eating 2 humans when the two main riders refuse to eat humans?
3)red blood is a little dumb since their blood is black. kinda ruins it for me

I found out about the opening via TV-Nihon, and, not to go on that route, but the opening looks extremely out of character and misogynistic.

Who knows, But I do know is that I think they'll play more into Haruka being on the Amazon side and the continued confliction within himself, like if he's willing to eat people.

I'm betting on Amazon Zeta being a thing. Gotta have something to starts with Z for the final episode.

Part of me (a tiny, unrealistic part) thinks they may go the full mile and introduce the whole Greek alphabet's worth of Riders. Cause, you know, alphabet focus and all.

Probably won't happen, since you know, who even has the budget for all those suits and whatnot, plus it'd likely only make the story feel bloated. But eh.

A fourth Rider at least does feel like a reasonable assumption though. Probably using the Sigma core Omega-side up. Don't know if it necessarily has to be Zeta, but it's likely.

Yeah. The supporting cast in Fourze all had names that were in some way references to the first six Kamen Riders. Kengo was Hongo, Daimonji was Ichimonji, Miu Kazashiro was Shiro Kazami, Yuuki Jojima was Joji Yuki, JK was Keisuke Jin, and Nozoma was Amazon.

I never would've caught that. And when y'all mentioned "psychic girl" I thought y'all were referencing one of the kids with powers from the movie.

Though the Amazon Omega suit was also in that shoot so I assume it's a new character and Rider. Could just be a form change, I guess, but...who knows.

Anyway, the suit looks alright. I want to get a better look at the face though.

Hm. Honestly not really sure I dig the armor that much. Kind of going against both the organic look that is Amazon's trademark and even Omega's cool sleekness. The new suits just...meh, not really my cup of tea. The new blue Amazon looks like it would have looked really awesome without all that silver...

Ah good. Kinda glad it's not. New driver alone would've been enough to satisfy the change (it was just his first two forms being green throwing me off at first), but being another Rider is cool too.

Like the armored look on the new guy more too, although that might just me being used to and really liking Haruka's old suit. It's like that suit was designed with the tech parts in mind so it flows better than the tacked on Omega suit. But it's a pretty interesting look and I wonder what it might mean for them to have to have that now.

Apparently the new belt is the NEO Amazons Driver.

New Rider is Amazon NEO. His name is Chihiro. Least that's what it looks like...
