At least I can hope for a show similar to W, OOO or Kabuto. A show with a good serious storyline but still have a decent amount of comedy.

No, it's likely a gaming/computer theme. The Driver is called the Gamer Driver, which when combined with the name of the gimmick item - the Rider Gashat - and the weapon - the Gashakon Breaker - creates a distinctly 'game-y' vibe. Not that that says the main character can't be a doctor, but the actual Rider form, Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, is game-themed.

I definitely expect the show's main visual themes to be video games, I think that's a given, but it's entirely possible that the rest of the show ties that into a secondary theme we've yet to hear about.

When we found out Gaim was about fruit themed Riders, we didn't know it was going to be about feudal Japan-esque divisions between different factions.

Ex-Aid could be a doctor/rescue worker who happens to be a gamer and uses his gear to help people in that manner.

Yeah like Drive had cars but he was a police officer. So I definitely can see a Doctor who has Video Game Powers.

If he is a doctor, I imagine he'd be one of the more serious types, like Shinnosuke, (or like Shotaro tries to be) than the more easygoing types we sometimes get

Huh. Guess that old rumor was on point.

It's definitely a very...unique design. Frankly, hard to say what my feeling on it are right now. Will probably have to see the actual suit to decide. I do like the color scheme and while I didn't think I would I'm finding the helmet rather cool. I dunno.

The label underneath says Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Action Gamer Level 2. A bit...hard to decipher what that really means at this point. I'm guessing "Gamer" is the name of his forms, this being Action, and the Levels would indicate different gear or something? Who knows.

Anyway, nice to finally start seeing pics.

Personally I love it. It's unique and brings something different to Kamen Rider. I am intrigued to see what the suit looks like.

I'm not a fan of the color scheme...too much pink.

First impression: This looks absolutely horrible. Like, damn. If I saw a picture of it out of context I wouldn’t even think it’s a Kamen Rider suit. Where are the bug eyes or a visor? This is just a generic anime face printed on a helmet. Also, pink, green and black color palette? No, just no.

The only thing I like about the suit is the SNES-inspired button layout on the chest.

Granted, this is only cheap vinyl toy, but I really hope the other forms look better and that the gimmick is at least bearable. Because after the trainwreck that is Ghost I really want to go in this optimistic, but this design isn’t making that easy for me, at all.

Really digging this more than I thought I would based on the old rumor. The colors are unique and really pop. It's very 90s video game-ish. The helmet, from the hair to the eyes, are also unique and fresh. I wonder if the eyes will be compounded somehow. I also don't see any bug/animal theme at all. Can't wait for the inevitable Halo armored form.

That helmet is horrendous. The rest of the suit doesn't stack up to it, either. I like the pink, though.

I don't mind the color scheme, but the helmet doesn't like a Kamen Rider at all. Even though Wizard and Gaim doesn't have that bug eye they still look like a Rider. And yeah, Hibiki doesn't look like a Rider at all but I dunno.

We~ll, if you put it that way Hibiki looks like Spider-man 2099 with a fundoshi and drumsticks he jacked from Nightwing and Ryuki looks like a mascot for George Foreman's grills. :lolol

The pink is fine, but the green doesn't work.
I don't like the hair, but the face has warmed up to me. I don't really need bug eyes for my Riders (Hibiki and Gaim both look great without them), so I'll live.
But there's just so much else that I don't like. I still just don't enjoy the controller breastplate.

I find this suit to be okay. I can see each "level" suit being used as an upgrade of sorts. Like in level one of a video game you start out with pretty much the basics, so I'm thinking his 1 suit will pretty much be like a "base" form like Den-O plat form. Then the other forms possibly add on to the suit, maybe in a similar way to how the astro switches worked.

Anyway this suit looks alright to me. The face is really what bothers me about it.

I am making a petition to Toei that Kamen Rider Ex-Aid must included Mario, Sonic, Link, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Star Fox, Samus Aran, or any Japanese Game Character because if theme of Ex-Aid is Video Game. This cannot feel like a video game without those iconic Video Game Characters! It like if Who Framed Roger Rabbit doesn't have Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny or any Looney Tunes or Disney Characters AT ALL!

Yeah, because Toei's going to really fork over the money to license all of those characters.

What I DO hope for, is for them to expand upon some of the ideas we were presented with in the Dragon Quest episode of Ninninger. That was an awesome episode

I was hearing stuff that the design might be fake and to me it kind of really similar to Akiba Red and could easily be a photoshopped version of it.

I still like the design but we'll see if it's true.

On the one hand, I kind of want to see this suit in action. On the other hand, we could have a much nicer looking suit than this.

I kind of doubt that they can afford to use those characters' licenses.
Unless Nintendo is for some reason affiliated with him.

Does anyone else expect the riders of this series to be the kind of guys who have LAN parties with Doritos and Mountain Dew? That would be would be pretty funny and cool. If Em makes the driver, then he would have to give it to his friends right?
