Build as W sequel will be really interesting especially both Build and W has similar Rider concept.

I think they can make W-Build connection like in Kuuga-Agito.

Hmm...Foundation X is really interesting organization. They absent in Wizard to Ghost Era. Maybe they appearance in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Brave Special episode is foreshadowing for Foundation X's role in Kamen Rider Build.

They were interesting, in W. Whether they still are now is a matter of opinion - and one I disagree with.

I'm fully aware that my opinion is in the minority, but that makes it no less valid.

Ehhhhhh I don't know if Foundation X's thing could be called a story arc. It's always been "rich bad guys funding bad guy research" until Toei forgot about them again after OOO

Looking at it again I think it will be hilarious if the whole show was shot in dutch angles. :lolol

It's more that each writer has their own ideas. Foundation X wouldn't really fit with the mess that is Ghost, for instance, and the whole point of Krim helping Banno (and subsequently getting killed, becoming Mr. Belt) is that no one would fund him. As for Gaim, Ryoma really isn't the kind of person to work with others at all - he was the 'godly genius' before Banno and Dan, after all.

I mean, technically, Kobayashi didn't use them either - Sanjou just had them name drop the O Medals (or refer to them, rather), and insert them into OOO and Fourze's movie war.

So if they are back, I'd say Sanjou's probably our head writer.

I'd love if Foundation X did come back. It would be nice to see another organization slowly growing throughout the years that isn't Shocker.

Yeah, and there's a Buttobasoul medal/Energy Item holder themed after the Foundation X briefcase, with specific medals for W, OOO, Fourze and Ex-Aid.

I've never understood why people are so staunchly against this. Drive I get cause of the storyline with Banno (though who says they couldn't have funded Krim?), but anytime someone says Ryoma wouldn't work with Foundation X I think that's silly. It's not his company or position to decide what to do with funding, and even if it was I think he'd totally take every advantage he could.

I also don't think Foundation X providing funding takes away from the shows actual villains. It just makes them a different villain, in the background, that I'd like to see more of.

Exactly. It makes them feel like the 'bigger bad' as it were, and for some shows (like W), that works. But Gaim was extremely self-contained - not even crossing over with Drive in any way outside of the Movie War (when every other Phase II Heisei Rider has cameo'd in the previous Riders last episode(s) or summer movie) and already had the Helheim Forest/DJ Sagara.

Ryoma 'needing' Foundation X in any way feels very wrong, and I highly doubt Takatora would agree to work with them either.

They were in W, they were in Fourze, and they were in the OOO/Fourze movie. I'm quite certain that is a story arc.

It kind of sucks because Toei made it seem like we were going to start having a shared universe again with Kamen Rider, but nope, then they got scared and wanted to go back to status quo.

Last time I check, W and the later shows exist in the same universe.

Well, and in a certain Ex-Aid project in the past year...

Foundation X was the pet project of W and Fourze's producer. When he wasn't in charge nothing happened with them because the other producers didn't care. It was a neat idea, but I think a lot of fans built Foundation X to be way bigger and more important than they ever were.

Yeah, while at it here is how I think the meddling of Foundation X in the shows they are not mentioned would have gone down and if I was the creative staff:
Wizard: Funded you-know-who with the big ritual in the beginning
Gaim: Funded Yggdrasil with tech development
Drive: Funded you-know-who with Roimude development and also influenced you-know-who's descent to madness
Ghost: Funded Ganma leaders and promised them this and that, etc. Responsible for instigating the demise of Ryu Tenkuuji
(sorry the only thing I care about in this show were the mishaps and antics of Onari :lolol)
Ex-Aid: Endorsers of Masamune and GENM CORP.

Well, here's a possibility, however remote:
Connected universes are a potential goldmine as the Marvel films have shown. Everyone is trying to do them - toy companies like Hasbro are trying to mash Transformers with G.I. Joe, M.A.S.K., Rom and Care Bears (or something), Universal keep trying to connect their classic monsters and the American Godzilla franchise has mixed with Kong and teased Mothra and King Ghidorah.

We know Toei gets this as their new Space Squad connects most of their Metal Heroes and Dekaranger. I wouldn't at all be shocked if they didn't attempt a partially unified Riderverse.

They have loosely formed it all these years for crossover sakes but yeah I think it is time they do it if they are serious.

Not everyone can succeed. DCEU, Monster Universe, Sony Spider-Man, and a few more failed miserably either by critics and/or box office. Only MCU and Star Wars manage to succeed. W did some ground laying, but each and every succeeding series tries to do their own thing. The movies sometimes are canon and non-canon. However, Toei only cares about toy sales. I mean DBSuper upset a lot of fans because of the bad storylines and arts. A lot of the actors aren't hardcore toku fans and only see it as a stepping stone for better acting career since it's exhausting to work all year long with minimum pay. Sometimes, they do return like Faiz and they try to connect his series' ending to the Taisen and KR4, but it created more questions and continuity errors,

Star Wars didn't succeed in that regard because it didn't do a cinematic connected universe that the MCU popularized, it just had one story with this one big world

Cranejoe updated his list of the Q1 toys with a bunch of details. Some of the more important ones:

-The Transteam Gun is the transformation item of Nightrogue and Bloodstalk. It apparently yells out "Mistmatch" for transformation, which is my favorite fucking thing. It's the perfect mixture of playing off Build's "Best Match" thing while at the same time incorporating the steam theme. Oh, and the Bat and Cobra Full Bottles come with the Transteam Gun and Steam Blade, respectively.
-クローズ uses the Build Driver.
-There's gonna be a couple of campaigns, the first one for the Build Gashat when you buy the Build Driver. The second for some poster and the last for the Lock Full Bottle when bought alongside an unspecified toy
-The Cleaner, Hedgehog, Fire and Lion Full Bottles come with the Bottle Holder, Drill Crusher, Pandora Panel, and Build Phone, respectively
-The Pandora Panel holds 10 Bottles. It is apparently a key item
-The Build Phone is a smartphone that turns into a bike

Neat stuff.

Probably Build Phone is like Lock Vehicle.

As this will be the last rider of the Heisei era this could tie up the whole Foundation X plot line. That or the next rider who will transition between emperor.
