Well It's an assumption on everyone's part based the price point of the gimmick items which are similar in price to the Ghost Eyecons and FullBottles you know like ¥400 to ¥600

Someone brought up the Runes on the blade in the title card. They spell out "Kamen Rider Saber".

From everything released and rumored, I’m getting an interesting mix of Ryuki, Blade and Den-O. Ryuki and Blade for the knight motif and possibly the title only fitting the lead Rider, fantasy lore in the story. So I don’t expect the other Riders to also have a sword, different weapons per Rider seems the most likely for a diverse toy line.
And Den-O because of the rumored/proposed fairytale/fantasy motif. Den-O did Japanese and various folk characters for the Imagin and with good PLEX designs I could see knights and fairytale working well together. Fruits and Warriors worked really well, so.

As far as books as gimmicks, I could see each Rider using “Pages” from their own books. I really liked the Progrise Keys being access key cards and how unintrusive they were to Zero-One’s designs. I think following Zero-One’s design standard wouldn’t be bad for the Reiwa era going forward, simple, recognizable but modern. It’s also easier on the suit actors.

Granted I haven't seen Agito in a while but I remember the plot being a clusterf--k as for Ghost I'm fine with the show being more spiritual based than horror themed but it's more due to it's writing and pacing and characters that make me draw ire to it

Right? Even setting aside how the people making this claim always seem to cherry-pick their lists of what they consider "fantasy series," it's not like it actually makes any difference whether a season is fantasy or scifi, since the "science" in the scifi seasons is always loose enough that it might as well be magic.

I imagine the main protagonist is stuck inside of a book world and to get back to home he have to transforms in Kamen Rider Saber and make some thing ( like rescue the princess , break some spell , kill a dragon , collect some magical objects)

Damn both rumoured designs are stated to be like W and Build. If these are somehow accurate then that's even less time than Sentai re-using dinosaurs again

...y'know, I can actually see that. There's sure as hell a lot of anime out there with similar premises.
The only issue I can see is that the typical rider theme is loosely "Kamen Rider saves & protects people" in some form. Perhaps they could play off an "I'll save people, even if they're fictional" angle?

It could also work the other way around with characters from books getting stuck in the real world and Saber has to help them get back to their world

I hope the protagonist is a librarian and the theme is about learning and imagination. His blade acts like a giant bookmark in time. A Blademark... if you will heheh

I’m definitely in the myths and legends camp than fairytales. Usually the logo design gives some indication of the aesthetic of the show. Ex-Aid and Fourze’s highlighted how animated their designs would be, Gaim’s being citrusy and samurai-like, Zero-One’s is corporate and kinda techy. Saber’s logo seems pretty straight forward with knights, runes and a touch of modernity.

Let us not forget all the Imagins in Den-O were based off of folklore, fairy tales, myths, etc. Just the main 6 Imagins used by the two riders of the show, Den-O and Zeronos, derive from Momotaro, Urashima Taro, Kintaro, Tatsunoko Taro, Hikoboshi and Orihime, and Swan Lake. As for Teddy he is the only Imagin based off of what Kotaro heard from others about his Grandfather's heroic deeds as a Kamen Rider.

Im really curious to see the overall look of the series.
If I remember correctly Kamen Rider is kinda struggling with places to shoot the episodes and you can feel it's more and more redundant.

So something that would be mythology/Arthur or fairy tales based would ask for some settings more like those samurai eras you could see in early Zi-O, Den-O and OOO movies etc...
Maybe they can do more like Hibiki and lot of exterior/forest settings with people camping or something.

How did they do for Ryusoulger ? I don't follow Super Sentai so I don't know what they did for settings and that's the closest concept I can find.

Ryusoulger moved out of the woods after the first episode and spent much of its run in the city.

And I doubt they’d do regular shooting in the woods again. Part of the reason for Hibiki’s turnover was that Taketera was spending too much money on location filming, cgi monsters and toyless toyline characters, and wasn’t making enough returns to pay them off. They only removed him because he refused to retool the show himself to accommodate these changes.

that's too bad because i can't see myself being excited about a show telling me knights/holy grail/fairy tale stories if there are buldings everywhere.

That's okay with Ex-Aid, Build, Zero-one etc but not with that kind of themes.

I also dont think they will have any problem finding a location. Knights doesnt necessarily need to be in forest - see shinobi, a good mix of modern urban and natural rural locations
