Considering Orange's construction motif, the name Genba could be a reference to Drive's Koujigenbar form.

I like the pun and alliteration. Sounds like a foul-mouthed guy, but it's hard to imagine when he's so damn cute as well. Expecting Premium Bandai to make a plushie soon.

Taiya sounds like a mix of Akashi and Sousuke in personality, an easygoing yet reliable and passionate Red. However, I think Ishirou looks more like Yakumo and Mira looks more like Amu. Humorous how Jou dreams of becoming a hero, even though he's literally already a cop even before he becomes Bun Black. Kudos for guessing that Orange would be the oldest, although Genba's personality sounds like he's actually the mysterious loner of the group.

Now that you mention it, genba is Japanese for scene or site depending on its usage and translation such as construction site or crime scene. Kojigenba, for example, usually means construction site in Japanese.

Yeah, Ishiro does seem more of a Hikari in Yakumo clothes now that you mention it. Genba and Jou definitely are my favorites so far, while I like how confident Taiya and Mira are.

The female villain is voiced by Nana Mizuki, and the robot is voiced by Rita Matsumoto. Both are known musicians. We may have some musical numbers involved in this season.

For sure. Matsumoto has already been chosen to sing the ending theme and I'm sure we could expect at least one insert song from Mizuki. Speaking of which, I just remembered Matsumoto was once part of JAM PROJECT which Endo is a part of still.

Based on the first impressions, I'd say Jou's the current candidate for my favorite as well. It's rare though that the one I predict as my favorite actually stays my favorite when watching the show, like I predicted Kaguragi for King-Ohger, but then it turned out to be Hymeno instead. Which is why I prefer to reserve my judgments until I have more information.

Either the tsuika or the bangai of the group. Tsuika senshi being the additional warrior, such as Dragon Ranger, Kyoryu Gold, Spider Kumonos, etc. casually called the sixth ranger since in many cases they appear as the sixth hero figure in super sentai. Bangai senshi, or extra warrior, would be heroes such as Ninjaman, Signalman, Kyoryu Cyan, Ohkuwagata Ohger, etc.

I dunno. Could be. Usually, tsuika shows up first, but didn't Kyoryu Cyan appear before Kyoryu Gold?

Yes, which is why I try not to use the term sixth ranger and specify with tsuika and bangai because of instances such as Kyoryuger. It used to make sense because that was the formula, but after Dekamaster and Magimother, who are bangai, things got complicated so the term sixth ranger doesn't make sense unless the tsuika is technically the sixth ranger to appear like Kiramai Silver or Shinken Gold. And when in doubt refer to the Gokai Cellular and its relevant peripherals. :lolol

Even if they're not in order, Deka Break does have a big VI on his torso, so he's still representing the number 6 while Master has 100. Personally, I think the weirdest example is Gobusters, which has 2 Sixths on a 5-man team, which I'll admit did take some time for me to accept. Oh well, I guess, as long as most people understand of the spirit of the terminology clearly and can exercise critical thinking, then the semantics are less of a problem.

I wonder if Yaruka will get their own robo. Probably a late-game development

I've been meaning to comment about this, but I'm here now!

-Pun names for each character centered around car terms.

-Some classic funny Sentai Villain designs and a dinky puppet for the "boss." I can already tell I'm going to enjoy them.

-I still think the mech looks pretty good. Also, we got a robot companion who also look good.

-Sentai Endings with dances are back!

-I'm curious to see how the battles will go, since I'm assuming they'll try to cram in as many high-speed chase scenes like the early episodes in Lupinranger vs Patranger. I haven't seen the trailer from the press conference yet.

All in all, this looks like fun! I'm not expecting it to be better or on par with King-Ohger, but I am looking forward to some shenanigans.

Toei usually only do replacements when there's trouble with the actors though. Unlikely that they'd do it for a mere reference.
