This. It looks awesome and all, and the price seems justified for what we get, but it's too expensive for me.

With that price, I'm better off using my money to save up to buy the new Nintendo 3DS and other games to go along with it. I know that this is a collector's line, but I have my limits.

Hells yes I just ordered a Hulkbuster. That sucker is sah-weeeeeeeet. :lol

Damn. As impressive as it is, though, I'm pretty sure Hulkbuster falls under the "Awesome yet Impractical" category for me.

I'm surprised at how expensive it is, now I'm questioning whether I want the hulkbuster unit or not.

Like I do enjoy huge robots with L.E.D.s but whoo boy it's the same price as basically my budget for a month of purchases.

Same here. If I do get it, I will have to try really hard to not buy anything else for that month. Not sure if I'll find it worth it.

Its the combination of Size, LED and Die Cast Parts that makes it so expensive.

It kinda amazes me that Figuarts has gotten to a point where it can sorta get away with releasing figures that cost 400 to 500 dollars at a mass market.

Machine Itasha was released at a similar price point, granted it's a bit larger but I can totally see this trend now.

Looks phenomenal, would love to own, but like others am priced out. Hope you guys who do get him enjoy the hell out of it and take plenty of pictures and videos for the rest of us. ;)

Oh I just realized something that would have been awesome to include as an alternate piece. The piston arm (did it have a special name?) that wrapped around Hulk's.

Tamashii is able to make figures that are the same price of a next gen video game consoles now :lol.

It's a web exclusive so I don't think they're quite there yet. Between this and Tridoron being web exclusive I'm going to assume that the Machine Itasha didn't sell well enough for them to consider such costly figures as mass market stuff again.

(Not that Akibaranger is particularly good thing to measure it by, because by the looks of it none of it sold all that well)

Eep I just bit the bullet and preordered it.

My reasoning was that I looked at the only other hyper detailed hulkbuster on the market with all the bells and whistles and that was the hot toy's stupid expensive one, so I thought for this quality, size and price range it's pretty damn good. So i preordered it.

I'm not buying anything in December.

I've seen a number of people on other boards complain about the price and saying Bandai's overcharging, but I think a lot of them keep forgetting that when it comes to licenses like Marvel, not just for Figuarts but Figma as well, it boosts the price up more.

Like if this didn't have to deal with the Marvel license, I would bet the price would have been more around 200 instead of 300.

I don't really think they're overcharging, but I could have done without the diecast or LEDs. Really it's the Chogokin element that's driven the price up over what I personally would have paid for it.

I'd probably bite if I knew it was going to be the only thing I bought/wanted in January, but I highly doubt that's going to be the case.

I'm out. I can't justify Hulkbuster at that price, even if it is justified. Maybe I'll get lucky and it will end up on deep clearance on Mandarake, like Machine Ishta was.

Thing is, I don't expect it to go down that much, simply because it's a Marvel Collectible. Unlike Itasha who is quite niche, the hulkbuster is an iconic suit so I can only see it's prices going up, especially as it's a chogokin release.

I went ahead and preordered the Hulkbuster. With it coming out in january it should give me enough time to save up for it.

Don't forget the sheer size of the thing.

There really isn't a way they could've made an in scale Hulkbuster for this line while also making it "affordable"

Well middleman fees from importing the figure over and selling it to customers is going to cause that to happen seeing that Bluefin can't import Marvel figuarts in North America.

Considering they're buying in bulk, their middleman fees should be much lower than those of us who are ordering a single figure. Short of having each figure flown over individually on a chartered flight, there is virtually no justification for a $200 price increase. It's way out of scale for even their usual, somewhat already over-the-top, prices. It's gouging, pure and simple.

I hear ya. Between here and then, I might save up enough but.....no. Can't justify a buy at $40-$500+ for one figure, even a Figuarts. Here's hoping for a deep discount.

No, I never got Itassha at all. But I know it got pretty cheap on Mandarake for a while.

Don't see this happening to the Hulkbuster, because Avengers. But it is a very impressive piece, it really is. Now would be a good time to be rich.

But other than that, I'm kinda sad we don't get more announcements. Where's Ultron and Vision? Black Widow, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver? Would be cool to get some of those.

Yeah, so far, most of the Iron Man figuarts have held on to their value pretty well on the aftermarket. Still hoping to find a War Machine Mark I for a reasonable price since I skipped over him when he came out. -_-

I would definitely feel much better about skipping Hulkbuster if that means I'll be able to get the rest of the Avengers cast in Figuarts form. Right now, I don't think I'll be able to justify $400 for one oversized figuart even with all the diecast and LED features.

Oh you're right, that would be a nice Vegeta to have considering all other options are hilariously expensive on the aftermarket.

Glad to see Beerus being done. He looks pretty cool. But the most tempting of that lot for me is definitely Vegeta. I'll admit I'd probably prefer a more classic look for him on my shelf, but since I did decide to start getting anything DBZ so late and they're insanely expensive now... If he does come with a normal head, that will be a fantastic one to get. It helps that I rather like the new look heh.

I'm very surprise to see Jaco as a S.H Figuart figure. I'm personally happy to see Beerus get made as well. I still hope to see Buuhan and Nappa get released soon.

Hot damn the DBZ reveals today are almost as good as all the toku ones! I can't believe Jaco is happening too but I will be more than happy to take him too :D
