Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I've beaten the Elite 4 and caught both Mewtwo and Zygarde. What have I not done to trigger the other Mega Stones to appear? I'm even following the 8-9 and 9-10 pm stipulations (I've seen sources citing both times), but I can't get any of the post game Mega stones...

It's 8-9. You already met with Sycamore to discuss the mega stones in Anistar City, right?

Well yeah, I think you have to do your rival battle in Kiloude first, then she/he mentions the Professor wants to meet you or something. Then you meet at the large crystal structure in Anistar and then the event triggers, allowing you to see the Mega Stones' shine when you go to their locations

On the Elite Four...the first 3 only gave me some trouble, but dang! Chef Guy's Gyarados!

So, the Helix and Dome fossils are Y only. Can someone help a brother out?
I also can't find a Skull fossil...Plenty of flipping Root Fossils, but no Skull Fossil...

Someone sent over a JPN Squrittle with Pokerus. I offered my female Lucario for it which I didn't need on the count of you getting one after beating the gym.

I feel pretty good about the trade though, even if the squirttle was slightly low level. This is my first experience with Pokerus so…anything significant I need to know?

Pokerus goes away after a while if its in your team, but stays if you keep the infected Pokémon in the PC. It can also infect others.

Pokerus only lasts for so long, but boxing it will freeze the timer so you can allow it to spread. It only spreads when on your team, but not while in the box.
And a Pokemon who has Pokerus keeps the effect permanently, even after the time ends, but once the time ends, it can no longer spread it.

And the free Lucario is not very good. The free Lucario was 2 levels below the one I trained up, but the one I trained had stats so much higher the 2 level gap felt more like a 10 level gap.

Yeah, the one I trained myself was a higher level and stronger then the one you get from the leader but damnit I couldn't bring myself to bench it at the time.

I remember my first experience with Pokerus. It was in Pokemon Pearl when it turned out my Flygon had Pokerus. I'm not sure it was a Flygon I transferred from Pokemon Ruby or I evolved it from a Trapinch in-game.

Trained up a Nidoking to take on the fairy gym and all but crushed it.

Btw, if you haven't already, I highly suggest picking up the 'Lucky Egg' from the Coumarine hotel. It boosts the exp. gained by a mon, usually a couple hundred points, sometimes double. It's great for grinding.

Lucky egg plus pokemon amie bonus is a god send for grinding!

I'd also like to recommend the restaurants in lumiose. I do the triple battle one, and you basically earn around 30,000 (although it cost 15,000 to enter) and if you do everything in the correct amount of turns with no faints you get a lot of big mushrooms which you can then sell for a load of money. Makes buying the premium items in lumiose boutique that bit easier.

Oh and if you revive a poke before the battle ends it doesn't count it as a faint ;)

I was wondering if that was still readily available. I'm half happy to see it and half disappointed that gaining experience is easier than it was in gen 5...and that's saying something.

I didn't play gen 5 so I'm not sure how it is comparitvely. I can understand how the battle chateau, lumiose restaurants, and s.t. can more than overcomensate for the lack of audinos.

However, if I need to take a lv20 and catch it up to the rest of my team that's at lv55+, I'm going to take all the help I can get.

Fossils can be held, right? So you could hatch me any a Kabuto and have it hold the Helix fossil. As for Skull fossil/Cranidos, I'm not in a giant rush for it, it'd just be nice to have.

True, but I have X as well plus I'm not in a position to go out and get fossils just yet. It's much simpler/quicker for me to just request the pokémon. I should be able to have all 3 by the evening.
