Build Strike Gundam! Lets Go!

This kit is fantastic! He's your a typical main gundam hero of the story, but this MG is just great nothing wrong, and overall great all around I have no complaints little to no stickers, a huge plus is that your able to store all his weapons parts on him which is great, just building the main suit minus the backapack he was awesome, with the backpack on he's ready to kick some ass.

Nothing really stands out for this kit, he's not super fancy like a Deathscythe, A Unicorn or an Astray, but he makes up for it for being simply awesome, and he really stands out on the shelf being displayed like this.

In terms of the build, he was really quick, I kept going at a fast pace to the point where I would missed a few steps because he was that easy. Really fun MG build I love this kit one of my favorites MG so far.

Zaku,Gouf,Dom,Gyan,Gelgoog,Qubeley and Sazabi are still cooler...

And Strike Rouge is still the best Strike.

I have no idea where this came from, I never implied he was coolest gundam or the best strike out there. I just said he's a simple fun awesome MG kit.

I know I might be in the minority here but I like HG Sengoku Astray. I personally don't min that it isn't anime accurate in color because I like how the flatter red pops. Though swords do need painting

The SD Zeong is one of those kits that I really like but I've never been able to find for a reasonable price.

I imagine BOJ going bankrupt lol

People would buy it anyway if it was the only way to get a PG Sinanju, so they could market it that way. But that thing would be at least 8 feet tall.

A perfect grade Neo Zeong would be the ultimate nightmare/dream scenario for a lot of collectors :lol

When I was at SDCC this year a couple of booths had fully built HG Neo Zeongs you could handle and damn they were big, quite a bit heavier than I expected for a model as well. Needless to say it's really cool to look at but I have no idea what I'd do with the damn thing if I owned it.

I think a PG Neo Zeong could set a world record or something lol.

Anyone here owns the MG Exia? I wanna get him but I heard things about his ankles that make him weak?

Yeah, he has a tendency to topple over. If you can, get the Ignition mode as it's the only way you can really get an Exia Repair.

Destiny's a fun build. The marking stickers, on the other hand...

Yeah, I just finished putting on the marking stickers this morning. They're a pain in the ass because they're clear plastic instead of paper, so they tend to spring off into the distance when you try to remove them from the sheet. The foil ones are even worse. Not to mention putting 80+ tiny stickers on a kit in a way so that they aren't crooked may induce insanity. I also lost/crumpled/tore a few as well, so he'll be forever asymmetrical. I'd recommend skipping the markings completely and just straight-building the kit. It looks great even without the stickers, I just put them on for the experience. It isn't an experience I'll readily repeat on future kits. But the kit itself is great, just keep in mind that it NEEDS a stand. So have a designated Tamashii stand/action base for it at all times.

Speaking of which, I don't think I've posted pics of the finished kit yet.

EDIT: I took some artistic liberties with some of the markings, most notably the silver on the toes. I'm not sure I like those ones, I might ditch them.

Wow he looks really good, but I guess I'll go for a straight snap build, plus I want my Destiny to be Shimon Destiny from Gundam BF Try, so all the fancy decals are unneeded for what I'm going for.

The best thing is that the RG Destiny is articulated enough to be put in all kinds of boxer poses.

It's actually perfect for that kind of thing, now that I look at the design: the giant hand guards are kinda like boxing gloves.

;-; the plight of being a 0083 fan and not knowing anything about the fullburn builds and figures....

First, built *looks at instruction cover* Rinasceta! Good build and kit but flight mode is meh and overall i think Fenice is better. Second, For my Destiny I'm just going to stick the wings a bit and maybe the weapons. therwise I do not want to deal with stickering him.

Finished the main build of Deathscythe, and since this is an older MG he was pretty simple and fast, I've had minor issues, but I'll save that for when I complete his cloak and his scythe, but so far 10x better than his HG counterpart.

isn't that a given due to the HGs age though? Its like comparing G1 Optimus to his Classics counterpart.

So I'm caught up on BF Try and..... eh? Maybe it's because I didn't watch them all at once, but I never felt as pumped up about the show as the original. And I'm not even tempted to want to buy the suits this time. Thoughts on my thoughts?

But for me BF Try made me feel like a little kid once more when I watched the first episode and that very scene when Build Burning Gundam came out of the Dom, was just full of epicness... like ugh, it was the first the time my inner child fully sparked to a show once again. But everyone is different, The original BF season I really love, and it's my favorite Gundam anime aside from Unicorn, but it didn't give me the inner child feelz like the BF Try did in episode one.



Side note, Deathscythe hell is done, and this kit is really good, he's old but not too old, though some minor issues I had to super glue his whole head assembly since it came falling out, his back skirts are so flimsy and fragile I had to coat it with super glue so it wouldn't fall off anymore, but man do I love those wings and....YES A GREEN BEAM SCYTHE! Overall a good MG, but fairly small too, compared to my Sengoku and Unicorn MG kit.

After catching up on Build Fighters Try I got this urge in me again to build some Gunpla.

Have any of you suggestions what would be a good kit to start with? Have never build anything before :lol
