We have confirmation that Season 4 is 26 episodes long, and if I recall, Equestria Girls did well enough to receive some kind of spin off, but I don't know what that's going to lead to.

I wouldn't worry about that. This is Hasbro we're talking about.
The company that would drop million dollar franchises just because one particular sub-toy line didn't sell well enough.

Also, if Friendship is Magic's last season is 4...I think that Hasbro won't let the bronies go that easily. I have a feeling that they'll keep the bronies in mind with G5. After all, why would they ignore people that have been making them buckets and buckets of money these past few years? It just wouldn't be a good business decision to have G5 go back to what G3 was like.

I don't think Hasbro would be foolish enough to do so, though.
Hasbro likes money, and the MLP:FIM train is a cash cow, being extremely popular with it's target demographic in addition to pretty much having every other demographic as rabid and rampant fans. They got the golden goose. They're not letting it go.

Hm...I just hope the quality will stay up. I don't mean so sound pessimistic, but sometimes shows that go on for a very long time also decline in quality over time.

I don't see it, actually.
Mainly because Hasbro is worried about any given TF series doing better than the Bay movies, so they drop the axe on any series that might air simultaneously with the Bayformers.

While that's something valid to worry about, until we hit the point where we see a mass change in staff, particularly writers, I don't think we have to worry about much.
