They really will get their money's worth out of that Zero mold regardless of how aged it's getting.

BBTS put up the Dada reissue, so I locked him in there. Really glad Bandai's going back and rereleasing Ultra Kaiju after how insanely pricey most of them have gotten. Also have the Baltan reissue set up.

I’m loving the Seijin/Kaiju rereleases. I also am really happy with the eleking they just released. Looking forward to Dada as well.

But it’s crazy they have not done Red King yet.

Oh nice! I have been eyeing Black King on Mandarake. So this will be good. Tyrant will be a new figure too, right? As far as I know he only exists as a little guy on display at trade shows or whatever.

Yeah Tyrant would be all-new if true.

Definitely seems like their current plan is reissuing kaiju and aliens while giving us new additions in-between like with the recent Eleking.

in an attempt to find a first SHF i have noticed many of them are missing good acessories. they have hands, obviously, but they seem to be missing a lot of their gimmickry? is that common or am i just looking at the wrong ones?

I?m unsure what you?re referring to. Are you seeing listings that have incomplete pieces?

I think if you showed us what figures you?re looking at, we could have a better idea. It has been a recent trend for some figures to not be bundled with signature accessories. For example, the sword for Zero-One is actually bundled with the Vulcan Shooting Wolf figure. Or even more egregious, the weapons for Zi-O and Geiz are bundled with the bike

Sadly accessories have really dropped off in the last 5 years or so, especially for Kamen Rider. Weapons get spread out across different releases to force you to buy all of them, and episode-specific props have all but disappeared. And sometimes when a figure is rereleased they'll have even fewer accessories.

If by "gimmickry" you mean stuff like, say, Tire Change for Drive, then many SHF's' forgo stuff like that in favor of better sculpt and paintwork.

Kind of a poor choice of example since the Drive SHFs did have some form of tire change implemented in them.

Not to mention we literally have the Geats stuff right now, which are built around the buckle/power-swapping gimmick. And that's not also mentioning things like SHF Fourze and his Astro Switch parts, Geiz Revive and Woz Ginga Finale, SS OOO and the mix-and-match combo gimmick, SS Den-O's form-swap ability, etc.

SHFs are getting better at putting gimmicks where they're able without compromising sculpt, paint or articulation.

I was more giving an example if a gimmick in and of itself rather than of a figure. But I can see where the confusion lies. My bad.

Tend to =/= always. Just because some do keep the gimmics, doesn't mean it isn't still the case that most forgo them and/or require purchasing extra accessory packs. We're also talking basic SHFs here as far as I can tell, not Seihou.

So we finally got new info on these: we have DGP entry set which seems to come with a bunch of heads for other male DGP Riders as well as command twin heads for Geats/Tycoon/Buffa + buckle/raising sword.

We also have the announcement of the GM riders being released.

On the one hand, it's kind of upsetting that the helmets don't look like you can swap parts with them. On the other, pretty neat that they're including the Raising Form helmets and Raising Sword for Geats, Tycoon, and Buffa. And that means we're a bit away from Tycoon Bujin Sword.

And the GM Rider is pretty cool, basically nets you another Entry Form body to use. Wiiiiiiill have to think it over.

The question is are they holding out for a female DGP set or doing a separate release for Lopo because it's odd to overlook one of the most popular DGP aside from the main cast

Although Lopo is a tall person so I felt they could of pulled it off on the male body

Weren’t customizers doing male torso + female waist and legs? Anyway I feel that would be the right combo for Lopo. It would make the figure visually distinct.

Also the GM set is a smart way to rerelease the entry form body. I like it!

EDIT: Yooo! I was way wrong on the suit actor for Lopo, so I just removed my comment. Sorry. All it was was me saying I thought she had a male suit actor. I blame the zombie torso!

Definitely down for this set as well as the GM Rider. Basically more Riders for the display.

Do think it should at least have come with alternate heads for Nadge-Sparrow, Keilow and DaPaan since they use Monster, Ninja, and Magnum respectively fairly often during their stints on the show, but I wasn't expecting to get the Raise Command forms for Geats, Buffa and Tycoon so that's a nice touch.

Thank you for the information but I never ever prepay shipping and luckily UPS/Fedex/DHL are all the same for me in terms of the service. In fact, I can't find a single reason to justify prepaying shipping when they can hold your items for free long enough so I can lump a few SHFs to ship to bring the cost down to <1000 yen per SHF. For me, the cost of a SHF is way more important than anything else as I don't mind waiting for a few weeks/months after the release date before I have it in my hands.

So I was just thinking about this. They give you an extra belt with removable id core in this DGP entry form set because the ID cores are not removable in the belts on the regular figures, right?

So you might need to buy multiples of this set to have the proper core id set up on each figure?

Are the core IDs removable on the other releases?

They're not, the disk piece with the id core on it is molded onto the belt. So yes, you'd need a full set for each rider you'd want to display since there's only one belt in the set.

An potential workaround is someone like SHF Upgrade releasing a sticker set for Entry Form that you can just put over the Geats core like their Panda head comes with.

The expectation is that you buy multiple GM Riders in order to make the other DGP players since the GM Rider already comes with the new belt mold & alternate ID core parts (see images attached). I think the DGP entry set just comes with a spare belt out of courtesy in case all you have is entry Geats to work with/don't plan on buying the GM Riders.

Ooh. That?s great, actually. Only other thing I was wondering was whether they would give a core for Buffa or tycoon, but I don?t see that they are.

I?m thinking it would make so much sense if they release a female entry form body with lopo, that white sheep one, and nago entry form head. Hope they do it.

This is actually really annoying. I have a bunch of entry bodies, but can't swap the belts on them for this set. Now I have to hope SHF Upgrade puts out extra belts.

For anyone interested in the entry rider set: Who are you going to display?

I’m definitely going to get a Nadge Sparrow going, maybe give him the monster armor and put punkjack in the spare beat armor. I think I need to get the old man bird man set up. Maybe I will make one for Kamen Rider Mary.

And part of me loves being able to make an extra Tycoon or Buffa figure - aside from not having an accurate belt or special lower body accessory.

Yeah, it's probably gonna be Nadge-Sparrow for me since he's the most prominent DGP participant after the main 4. Although I do at least want DaPaan and Keilow as well.

It looks like we're going to see a Shinkocchou Seihou Kiva-related announcement soon. Could Saga FINALLY be escaping prototype hell? Only other things I could see it being are Kiva's alternate forms or IXA Rising
