The trailer for Build got me really eager for the show, the trailer for Zi-O honestly does not.....

The writer does not have much faith from me, and someone will very likely once again tell me it " totally does not matter because....", so positives so far is that I like the suit and monster designs shown.

I will be watching the entire show just like I have watched every sentai and rider show for years now, but I cannot say the first impression is that great for me so far.

I feel the same way, i'm just not feeling for Zi-O as much I did for Ex-Aid & Build.

Two reasons why I don't think I'll like it.

I usually don't like the rider movies with past riders in them (except for the showa riders because they are in the same universe) so I fully expect to not like Zi-O. KR usually has a dud every 2 or 3 seasons and after Ex-Aid and Build, this feels like the dud season to me.

I just got out of the hospital and only recently regained internet, can someone catch me up on what I missed? Last I remember was the helmet getting leaked.

Zi-O is a high school kid named Sougo Tokiwa, he is destined to be Kamen Rider IOwnYouAllEvilOverlord in 2068. He uses ridewatches, watches without straps, as collectible gimmick items to fight Time Jackers and their anothers, who are the kaijin of the show that look like mangled SICs of previous Kamen Riders. Rider 2 is Geiz, who is Kamen Rider Kyle Reese from 2068 the year where Zi-O is IOwnYouAllEvilOverlord and wants to take down Zi-O. There is also the heroine Tsukuyomi who is also from the future. Show starts September 2nd and the guy who sang the Ninninger opening theme and Kasumi no Joe from Black RX are the voices of the belts. And yes, Zi-O is still a human rolex.

Sooo, Decade but potentially not a steaming pile of feces? I hope the writer can actually write worth a damn this time.

I think the best way to put it is a less messy and refurbished Decade based on what we have so far. :lolol

We know. It's been out for ages now.

From what I've been hearing the writing team doesn't exactly have a great track record.

As a result I am being rather cautious over Zi-O... but may still watch it for the cameos rather than the actual plot... :/
