My Frogaider I got off of Wonder Trade finally evolved, I'm happy as fuck to have a Greninja in my party. Just a shame he's too weak to really fight the Elite Four, and I see no reason to play these games after the Elite Four is beaten.

I beat the Elite Four today.

The champion was pretty easy, surprisingly. I was able to one shot most of her team. Her Gardevoir gave me some trouble though. I really liked how they made it feel like you became the champion, by giving you a parade, instead of "Congratulations! Nowback to your room!" The fight with AZ was EZ as well. Also, I randomly ran into Zapdos...who ran away before I could do anything...and Shauna gave me a Chespin which was pretty cool!

And I had an easy time with the Champion, too, surprisingly.

Oh, of course not. What would they do if you lost? I guess they could do the same thing that happens if you KO Yveltal/Xerneas.

Seriously, Siebold gave me more trouble. That dang Gyarados.

THAT DAMN GYARADOS. It got off FIVE Dragon Dances the first time I fought him... did enough damage for him to use up both Full Restores, but just got tired of it and restart. Still had to go through one Full Restore and three Dragon Dances, but I got lucky with the attacks this time and did enough to take it out.

So yeah, beat the game this evening. Rather liked the ending.

Same here. It was nice to see AZ reunited with his Floette. The only thing that would've made it better would be if there was voice acting.

The Elite Four's 'mons don't level up like they did in previous games? That's weird.

I'm not bothered with the difficulty. I think a lot of love went into the graphics and online connectivity and online features of this game. Game Freak really wants people to go out and interact so I can understand if a the single-player story was nerfed slightly.

I'm givng them lots of leeway. New graphic system, new online system...takes a lot of learning curve but they've done great thus far. When the 3rd or 4th title of this Gen comes out I'm sure they'll try to improve the difficulties or stories like they did with Platinum.

Honestly, I had to look up what Gyrados you guys were talking about because it was a complete non-issue in my fight. :lol
...Yeah, it lowered Magnezone's HP to 1 in with a single Earthquake, but Thunderbolt made quick work of it :p

Anyway, I think the E4 getting a large level boost is nice. If their Pokemon can hit higher levels than 70, it means fighting them again will actually be a challenge, and not be a cake walk once one member of your team hits Lv 80. The downside is that, whenever I was strapped for Poke-cash in previous games, I'd use the E4 and an Amulet Coin to change that...Guess I'm gonna need to find a new option to buy the remaining 2 Mega Stones...

Beaten the first of four elite four trainers, only three more and the champion to go...

Beat the fairy gym last night (that warp house looked cool, but was a pretty underwhelming puzzle) and FINALLY evolved my Pikachu. Now I have a badass Raichu heading up my team :D

Yeah, I learned that too when I caught a Kakuna. Back when I was playing Red :lol.

:lol You can catch wild Weedles and Beedrills, wild Caterpees and Butterfrees, but don't ever catch wild Kakunas and Metapods :lol
