It's almost like DC wants people to go to Marvel at this point. Not everyone is going to want to pay for a new streaming platform. How greedy do you have to be in order to do something like this? |
There is SOMETHING great about this new method. It would mean Cartoon Network doesn't screw the show over like it does to SO many stuff. Hell, Young Justice got cancelled by Cartoon Network to begin with for not selling enough toys despite there BEING no toys iirc

WB and DC can take the show and shove it up their ass like they can with the Icons toyline. At least we got some great things from DC tonight. I don't know how this show keeps doing it, but tonight was another outstanding episode of iZombie. I'm not sure which was funnier, the woman's B movie quality scream with the other lady asking her if she was serious, Major's face when Liv started to talk funny, the brain piece that was stuck on the bottom of the container, or Clive and Liv's reaction when they learned she was on the brain of a gossip. All of it was great and it looks like things are going to get even funnier next episode (which should dominate the night). Oh man it is so great to have this show back. I'm really starting to wonder if Peyton is going to end up getting herself zombified by accident. I do feel bad for Major though. After all that, and nothing came out of it. I also loved Ravi's "So he's a James Bond villain?" The same goes for tonight's Flash, which was really really good. Well, except for Barry's Ezra Miller impersonation with that horrendous wig. I really loved his suit though, especially the belt and the red color. I usually tend to enjoy possible future-esque episodes, so that is why I most likely enjoyed this a lot. However, seriously, Mirror Master still can't be bothered to wear a costume? ENOUGH WITH THE FUCKING HORRENDOUS BUSINESS SUITS!!! Why they hell would you be a super villain and just wear a damn business suit? Who the hell wants to dress up looking as stupid as that in the first place? You're a god damned villain, HAVE FUN WITH IT!!!! You're evil! UGH!!!!!!! Now I'm really curious as to whether or not Savitar is actually a future version of Barry or perhaps even Jay? Well I guess next week we will find out. Either way, I'm so glad they are finally getting back on track with this show. |

And not to defend DC but I bet this was WB's call cause this has corporate bullshit written all over it. And congrats WB/DC you just massively encouraged pirates everywhere to distribute the show illegally because you got greedy and tried to fuck over the consumer. |
just watch this week flash i have feeling it neath wally or jay or even barry. i think it some one kat really loved who died in season 2 well we thought died but might ended up becoming savitar.
|
This was a great episode of the Flash. I think it was definitely worth the one month hiatus. The future versions of Team Flaah were really interesting and of course HR was the best. The cliffhanger ending though was insane. Savitar's suit is like Iron Man's armor. I thought it was more of an organic armor. At this point I really have no clue who Savitar is because there are too many rumors so I'm really excited for next week.

Right, it was never actually stated it would be on Netflix. The only relation was that being wildly popular on Netflix was sort of a stipulation for generating enough interest to get the ball rolling.
Ergo, the implication was kind of there and I can't really blame anyone for expecting it to be put on that platform. Hell, I was still hoping it would be. What they're doing instead I... am not thrilled about. |
Are you sure? I could have sworn the announcement came from Netflix.
|
I think the furthest we ever got was Netflix saying they were looking into it. After that, we got confirmation (Never from Netflix) that a 3rd season was happening and members were on board.
Fans assumed that, since Netflix said they were looking into it, then X months later the producer saying it was greenlit, that Netflix would air it. |
I'm not really sure how I felt about this episode of Arrow. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. It's kind of just ambiguous to me right now. The best parts were the ones that dealt with Wilddog and Quentin. The rest of the episode just showed how much of a moron Felcity has gotten these last two seasons.
Also, there are some going around with the speculation that Savitar is Ronnie based on Kaitlyn's reaction. I don't think that is the case. Savitar has to be someone big time in order to put Wally in a comatose state like he was, and he has no idea who Ronnie is, so he would not have done that to him. |
Flash was brilliant tonight. One of the season's best. Great character moments, a well thought out plot, the way Barry realized who Savitar was was well done, and the action was pretty good. Not to mention it also brings to light how Savitar knew about Flashpoint.
Of course, for as amazing as Flash was, iZombie was just masterful. My favorite scene was when Liv was going off on the sketch artist. Oh that was great. |
Man
I honestly might just end up dropping Flash unless Season 4 turns out to be of much greater quality |

ICE SLIDE! :D Also, I enjoyed the episode for other reasons. But the ice slide made me giddy. |
As good as this season of Flash as been, I'm really getting tired of the whole evil speedster is really someone close to Flash plot they keep using.
Actually, it got tiring during the second season with Zoom. |

I don't see how Season 3 has been a total disappointment. Yeah, it has made some misteps and some really dumb decisions, but I'd still rather watch Flash over any other super hero show.
Thankfully, Season 4's villian was already name dropped (The Thinker) and they have promised no more speedster main villains. |

They fixed the unfun Cisco back during Invasion though.
I do hope Flash gets back to its more light hearted nature, but on that spectrum, it does show exactly what is wrong with the current mindset of DC in general. They think everything needs to be dark and serious to be good. That is one of the reasons I thought last week's episode of Flash was also amazing as it highlighted exactly why Flash should NOT be dark and mopey (not to mention his horrible wig looked like the joke that is Ezra Miller). |

Erza Miller had the best lines in the JL trailers so far. That's not saying much because it's DCEU and anyone can already tell it's a mess just by looking at it, but still, it's something |
So Flash just became a typical CW show glad I didn't get attached to it.

Flash was great last night. I really liked that they developed HR's character a bit more. The Savitar reveal was of course expected. At this point I just have to know why he's doing all of this?!

So yeah, tonight's episode of Arrow was pretty mediocre. I'm so glad to have a super hero comic book show rip off an episode of The Highlander instead of showing me super heroes kicking the asses of bad guys.

That was a painful episode of Arrow. It was like watching an unaired season four ep. At least the last minute or so didn't suck.

First batch of DLC characters for Injustice 2. I couldn't be happier with this first set of 3. Red Hood, Starfire, and Sub-Zero!!! We also get a preview in the background for upcoming DLC so Black Manta is also confirmed and also a character that may be Raiden. |
So...whonelse got to enjoy free comic book day today? I picked up superman unchained and blackest night vol.1
|
MKX had two guest fighters, so I won't be surprise if Injustice 2 has a second guest fighter too. Ed Boon did ask on which guest fighter that people want on Twitter. The choices were Spawn, Hellboy, Buffy, T-800 and Max from Mad Max.

Black Manta makes me happy.

So we just watched episodes 11 and 12 (I think) of Supergirl. The first one with Miss Martian's husband was decent. It had some good moments, but was kind of a flat episode as a whole. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the Lena Luthor one. I loved how much Kara was willing to stand up for Lena even though I know that is going to bite her in the ass by the end of the season. She IS a Luthor after all. The battlesuit in the background was pretty damn awesome too.
On the other hand, can we get rid of Snapper? He is such a monotonous character with a one dimensional personality. They haven't done jack shit to even bother to attempt to make this guy a character. He's just there because Kara needs a boss, which is so stupid. Bring Cat back already! So after giving episode 12 some praises the next episode was god damned awful. Did they hire their worst writers to do the romance scenes this episode? Good god was it painful to sit through. Also, Mon-El says that Mr Mxyzptlk is an annoying imp, but he's not even short to be an imp. WTF? This should have been a fun episode but instead it tries to be dramatically serious for the sake of it, which is everything these shows should not be. Oh, and of course they had to add in more unneccessary heart ache for Alex and Maggie because that is far more interesting than a super hero saving the world. Good god. This was probably the worst episode thus far and that is saying something. And then episode 14 happened. No, it wasn't as bad as the last one, but it was god damned predictable and they didn't even execute it properly. Mon-El got shit on this episode for no reason as he was only trying to speak reason. And then we have Alex who just went all off on Kara which felt completely out of character. This show is going to get better in the end, right? |
Tonight's Flash episode was pretty solid. I do agree with Iris in that it was fun seeing a happy Barry again. I really hope this means they are planning to bring that version of Barry back after this season ends. I also couldn't help but laugh at Barry's, "What, was I mopey?" question. If only he knew. lol
Watching Savitar without his memories was hilarious though, especially when he started to bash his head against the wall. The courtroom scene was probably my favorite moment of the epsiode though, which is kind of funny considering what Better Call Saul was full of last night. This is probably the only time where I will say courtroom drama rocked this week! :D Oh, and Joe's "This doesn't make any sense" was awesome. And then we go to iZombie. Well that was depressing. :( Liv just can't win one bit, can she? I loved that the episode started her still on the dominatrix brain. However, my favorite scene was probably the one where she had accidentally left her cell phone in the body of the dead dude. I don't know why, but the writing makes it feel like this series is going to be wrapping up soon. I wouldn't mind one more season to finish off the Mr Boss storyline since this season is leading towards dealing with Fillmore Graves one, but if they end all of the other plotlines now, I'd be cool with that. Sucks for Peyton about Blaine though. What an asshole! |
