Is Den-O holding the record for the most Figuarts released for a single series?

Considering my Kamen Rider detolf shelf is split between every show and Den-O has a shelf for itself, i would say yes! We still have ways to go.

Ryuki is catching up quick though. Looks like that will be finished before Den-O will. We mainly just need Gun Form , Axe Form , Rod Form , Liner Form , Wing Form , Teddy , Vega Form Zeronos and whatever the Red form was called.

So far? I'm not sure, at the moment it has some pretty stiff competitive in the form of W.

Zero Form. And you forgot PlatForm, Nega Form, Negataros, the Den-Bird, and the Zero Horn :p

I love Plat Form. It's so basic, and I guess that's why I like it so much. And I don't have the Souchaku Henshin of it so I've got no representation of it currently.

So Zeronos and Sword Form both use the same body as the Trilogy new Den-O?

That they do (as does Climax and Super Climax, of course).

Speaking of, I really wish I had waited for Super Climax instead of getting regular Climax. -.- I should've known it was inevitable, and coming with everything the regular does... It really makes the regular one pointless.

What he said. Every Den-O release from Trilogy on up uses the same base body with extensive remolds. The ones previous to that (Yuuki, Gaoh, Original Strike Form, New Vega) use a different base body that was pretty inferior to the one we have now.

And yeah man, when I say Super is identical I mean it. The only differences are the peg on the back, the stage, and the extra paint details. If someone doesn't have normal Climax already then I suggest skipping it and going for Super. Currently Super is selling in the 5000 yen range (what I paid) and I think it's well worth the price. Wait it out and it'll be cheaper. I'm impatient :lol

The usually end up being Tamashi exclusives somewhere down the road though, I know it happened with TaMaShi Combo and Rising Mighty Kuuga.

I can understand why you would want it , and i would not fault anybody for it. I just personally don't know what i would do with a Plat Form figure. I kinda just want everybody that is in your signature picture , the 7 good guy Imagins & bikes.

OK so I opened up Shinken red...umm...compared to just about the Riders he feels like a Figuarts lite...will do s more in depth review on some place lol...but not impressed compared to the others I have...

I've always felt that the Shinkenger mold was inferior to your average Figuart. It feels lite and cheap compared to your run of the mill figures.

Unfortunately, ShinkenRed came out the year Bandai started to cheapen all of the Figuarts, if memory serves me right.

Just got my payment request for the Cyclone Joker reissue :D

Now I know DaiRiderRX is constantly reminded me to be careful that the kneecaps don't pop off and go missing (:lol), but is there anything else I should know about the figure?

the hands are a pain to swap, the wrist guards are easy to lose, and the leg articulation isn't the same as what we've been getting now.

I think it's the fault of the Sentai line, Tiger and Bunny came out around the same time and they retained the diecast feet, I think for some reason Bandai is cheapening the Sentai Figuarts

Really? I figured they did not have diecast feet because they were just wearing spandex and not armor like the Riders do.

That might explain why Fourze and Meteor doesn't have diecast feet either, but then again if they were, the switching with the module sets would probably be a pain. But then again if that's the reasoning, then Gosei Knight should have had diecast feet, but I don't recall him having diecast feet.

Bandai has strayed away from diecast feet because its cheaper. We see select figures from time to time that still use them (Ryuki figures) but the sentai ones always get the shaft. As do alot of riders now. Im afraid that for the most part diecast feet are a luxury that we wont see often.

While die cast feet do help for balance, I'm not crying over the change to plastic. Most character's poses don't require the weight balance or are on stands, so it's not that big a problem.

Personally, I'm glad the old die-cast ankles are gone. When I as taking my Super Hero Time picture with BoukenRed and Kabuto, I was reminded of how stiff and line breaking they were.

I really like the die cast feet the Ryuki figures have, and think the lack of die cast fee is a detriment to the Den-O figures.

While the diecast ankles are nice, there are reasons why them slowly being factored out is a good thing.

No paint scrapping or chipping and no risk of really floppy or really tight joints mostly.

I will say if the non die cast are in the same vein as the Den-O line, I will have zero issues. Those were awesome feet that held balance extremely well.

Now if the Die Cast are used for the Web Exclusives, that would also justify the price to make them special.

I never liked Die-Cast. It makes figures heavy and, in some cases, unbalanced. My proof is those Die-Cast War Within Transformers they released years back. Those figures are a line of God Aweful. Plastic is cheaper, reduces weight, and makes for a better product.

It is all about integration, all Die cast, yeah not so good...it also puts strain on the display stands. But the feet do give great stability I have to say. I look at Den-O, then I look at Shinkenger Red...there is a serious difference...but some figures, like Meteor, if it didn't have the metal, I don't think he could hold all his poses...

Die cast is fine when it's applied to places like the feet or joints. I find that die cast feet makes things way more stable.

My Decade Complete Form can hold Shinken Red's Rekka Daizantou without the need of a tamashi stand for example.

It's a shame the same can't be said for Shinken Red :lol

Actually, that's an example of doing die-cast implication completely wrong. All the limbs were die-cast, all the joints were plastic ball-joints. So of course that's going to lead to a heavy, floppy mess of a toy.

Bandai knows how to implicate die-cast in a more practical way to help make the figure more stable instead.

I'm pretty sure that was entirely intentional to shut all the people up complaining about the lack of die cast in American released TFs. "You want die cast? We'll give you die cast!" :lol

Oh I agree. That is why I am happy Mattel did not use die-cast on their Voltron.

However, I do think it worked well with feet. Honestly, I can care less if they use die-cast or not for the feet. In fact, I hadn't noticed that Den-O did not have them until you guys mentioned it.
