SHODO-XX3 is just about out, and the case distribution appears to have dupes of Gatakiriba and Emperor. I have to imagine this is one of those waves where the case distribution varies between cases, because it would make much more sense for the base forms to have the dupes

I'm actually gonna be a little disheartened if the usual blog is gone for good? Like, I know it's just advertising for a figure line, but it was nice to read the commentary, interesting to see the development over time, and it felt like G/D-San were also genuinely having fun.

I doubt it's gone for good, but they're certainly publishing Geats posts less frequently. I'm not sure why this is. Maybe they felt that combining the Geats articles with the Shodo stuff was causing them to get fewer views? I have no idea. They went on a drought for a couple of weeks before the most recent Geats article, didn't they? I imagine we'll see more in the future. (Until this thread, I didn't even know pictures of ID5 were out; AARGH on even more ReVice stuff in the Geats line. No real surprises among the Geats stuff: a single Command Form that'll be either/or Geats or Tycoon for display purposes. Maybe they'll do a second one in ID6? Geats and movie-Rider versions of the new construction armor, with the Geats one sporting a (in my opinion, welcome) Boost lower half. Glare, but not the extra parts I expected to display him controlling other Riders. With the exception of the Revice stuff, a decent wave, seems like.

I want to believe everyone was just taking it easy during the holidays. D-Man seems engaging enough to at least tell us if he would be leaving, which I doubt is the case. I do remember they did a full breakdown for ID4 even if they didn't do the proper reveal

I don't believe they said anything about when they'd publish the results. I'm really hoping Kanon and Tassel win myself; or at least one of them

Expect to groan more in the future, because until more Geats stuff happens like a new upgrade or something; we're at the point where there's more Revice stuff to cover than Geats. As said, btw, the Command figure includes enough stickers and extra parts to do both of its forms and both Geats and Tycoon's helmets -- so there almost certainly won't be an extra one released in future, but this wave does have one empty figure slot so it's likely two Command figures will be packed per case.

If anyone's wondering exactly what's left for Geats at this point -- Boost Fever, Seeker's stuff revolved, Jyamato Rider, some extra Riders as Entries, the Boostriker and some accessories (GM Rider helmets, Seeker's weapons).

Revice meanwhile has a lot more stuff to catch up on -- Chimera, Igarashi, Get Over Demons, the three V-Cin suits, a metric ton of Jeanne and Demons weapons, and then Revi and Vice's DGP forms. Wondering if they'll do those as full figures or just their helmets chucked in an accessory box.

Anyone knows any substitute for Showa Rider that share the same size with So-Do? Shodo is to small for me. I really want geats stand side by side with the showas.

And also, does anyone feels that boost magnum is a rare thing in the market? It's quite hard for me to find one in Indonesia

Thank you for the OOO picture; for some reason every demonstration I could find on the combo change didn't show the torso separating from the legs so I was a little unclear how everything panned out. Very funny that the OOO Driver can separate given it's the exact same black piece on everything, but I assume it's to give painters an easier time

This wave should've had a 3rd OOO in it. There was no reason to show how the legs swap when all the available legs are the same. But yeah, while it can be pain to get the middle chest piece off, it feels so much better than the SO-DO with it's tiny super breakable pegs.

As for the driver, all the drivers come off in this wave. Ixa comes with two (and the knuckle weapon to go with) and Kiva can have his bat buddy. Only issue is all the side hostlers come off to. Kiva's chest armor can easily knock them off, it's annoying.

I also got in ID4, which went straight to the painting table.

The highlight of the wave is of course the accessory set. Can finally have these two in their most used forms.

Can also finally do Na-Go Boost Hammer with zombie eyes. The customizable driver is great, though it sticks way far out from the body. Worth it though. It allows any combo of buckles and that's all I wanted.

Speaking of eyes, having bought only 1 of each case, I now have enough masks of the core 5 for every set eye stickers. From left to right: Entry (black), Boost/Weapon/Fever (yellow), Magnum/Zombie (red/orange depending on Rider), Ninja/Beat (darker red), Monster (blue), and finally Na-Go's zombie (meaning she need one extra). And I have 3 Tycoons and 2 Geats and Punkjacks masks leftover.

The other highlight of the wave is Buffa Fever Zombie because they didn't do Zombie Revolve On yet and this can be used to make that. While I have nice things to say about the stickers for the shoulder spikes, the knee stickers aren't big enough to fully cover the spikes. Other than that, the legs are quite nice and I like the claw foot a lot.

Also, they improved Buffa's stickers. The first Zombie had the wrong purple on the stickers, Fever corrected it. The sword was also a little darker before and I actually kind of prefer it, but the new stickers are probably more accurate.

The other Fevers sure are here to. With less paint apps and annoying new stickers to replace them. The two Revice figures are here to, I guess.

I'm finding it a little frustrating that even though we've got a zillion upper-eye stickers, we've still only got a limited number of lower-face plates. I'm hoping to eventually be able to display all the Riders who've appeared so far, although at this point, we're four behind. (I imagine the stickering on Keilow would be atrocious anyway.)

It seems like Geats SODO are harder to come by. I think people are picking up extra sets for extra parts due to how swappable things are. The base Geats suit is much higher than the main suit usually is months after release.

Yeah, I'm finding it harder to find and more expensive to buy Geats SO-DOs than previous lines. Nothing terribly unreasonable, mind; but it is noticeable. I can understand why though -- it's such a fun gimmick that I'm finding myself getting into SO-DO more than ever before!

I'm really hoping that the next wave has Lopo as she's the character I'm most after at the moment. Though, even if ID6 has her, that's still 3 months I'll be waiting...

Oh god isn't this true, AmiAmi no longer sells SODO, Yahoo Auction and Manda rarely get them, then HLJ and Hobbysearch sell out really ding dang quick, it's rough atm. I feel really lucky to have gotten IDs 1 to 3.

I got into SODO to keep up with something for each series but it's honestly more affordable to just pick up the SHF of the main rider after the series is over. A part from Zero One, the Reiwa SHFs have been super easy to acquire.

I'd love to quit SODO but I've got so many figures in the line already.

My SHODO-XX 3 came today and they're pretty solid aside from Ghost Toucon Boost's visor paint being especially sloppy. Though I eventually plan to paint them all it is a bit annoying that such a detailed tampo is just millimeters off from being perfect. Ixa has a surprisingly detailed paint job on his torso for this line. More than ever I'm getting "Motion Revive 2.0" vibes from Shodo.

Anyone recall offhand when the PB wave with W Xtreme, FangJoker, etc is supposed to drop?

It's supposed to be next month; same as the Fuuto PI set :)

This is something very specific, but does anyone know if Saber included a Dragon Alangina stand sticker at any point? I've been opening my accessory boxes from the second-last wave and was pleasantly surprised to find stand stickers for all the random forms you can make with the included parts, but there wasn't one for Dragon Alangina and looking back neither Dragon Buta (which comes with the Ridebook stickers for the form) or Golden Alangina from the same wave include it. I can't think of anywhere else specific it would be included, does anyone know if it was ever made?

Don't think so. As I understand it, that form wasn't planned in anyway, hence not having a unique helmet. They probably forgot about it by the time of the accessory packs.

Speaking of stand stickers, I really wish they made ones without forms on them. I'd much prefer stickers that said "Kamen Rider Da-Paan" and "Kamen Rider Mary" instead of "Da-Paan Entry Form" and "Mary Entry Form" since I have neither of those in Entry Form. Don't get rid of form stickers altogether, I just want one sticker for every Rider that's just their name for moments when the sticker will be wrong regardless.

Honestly, I'm just amazed I haven't seen a single report of either of the Ghost figures having bent horns out of the box given how these were packaged.

I feel the same way about those stickers. Luckily the area is a simple rectangle so it's easy enough to make your own stickers for them. Although in the long run, I'd prefer rectangle bases with a single peg. Something to 3D print later!
