People expected this to happen? Seriously?

Why would they make the armor removable on the Figuarts? Figuarts is to get the more accurate to screen adaptation possible while maintaining posseability. Switching our armors would hinder that.

now the S.I.C. versions...that will work awesome with the armor...

You guys do know that if you want Gaim figures with removable armour that's what they made the Arm Change figures for right?

to play devil's advocate, the SHF Fourze figures supported the module change gimmick, just like FMCS figures.

With swapable chest/back pieces (similar to Red Hawk/Black Condor), alternate heads and shoulder-pads, wouldn't that be all that is needed to have changeable armor?

Granted, I haven't watched any of Gaim yet, but from what I can tell, that's all that changes?

Fourzes gimmick just requiered to change the forearms and shins to use the Modules. It was very easy to execute and you didnt need alot of parts. For the Armor to change on the gaim Figures you would need to completely different upper bodys, new heads and the giant cyber fruit.
Even more unrealistic are armors that transform on the figures since to look like the armors in the show it would be impossible for them to have that feature.

Yeah, but the module sets sold poorly. Bandai would not go that route again with Gaim, not when they could just charge full price for a full figure.

ok so i got into collecting figuarts becuase of shinken red and now own every sentai release up until now, only missing shinken yellow =[ and gosei knight! but i think some of the kamen riders are growing on me! i hope i dont get hate for being new to the riders as we all gotta start somewhere!
i have fourze base states and his bike and love them!
im currently looking into getting CycloneJoker and OOO TaToBa and Wizard Infinity and finally FangJoker,
looking at some reviews they look really good but id like to get all your opinions! are these worth purchasing?

also im getting kind of nervous! i ordered kyoryuger red but im hearing a lot of people are recieving him with broken wrist pegs! is this a huge issue for him?

THe problem is the aesthetics though. Look at those Arm Change toys. They look bulky was all freaking hell. It's like each rider ate a little too much fruit before transforming.

Except they don't, because you can see the body underneath. Typically eating too much doesn't cause your clothes to expand off of your otherwise perfectly fit body. And it depends even then, because Baron's ends up pretty close to his chest.

The problem is, full interchangability. Yeah, the armour might be able to be swapped without transforming, but helmets? You'd need to included every single Rider's head with every amrour, unless you're gonna half-ass it, and at that point why bother?
