And don't listen to SPLIT LIP, Malunis. Agito is a fantastic show and while it does have some plot holes, the majority of it comes together by the end. |
I finished watching OOO again the other day, but I wanted to gather my thoughts before posting what I thought. About my thoughts that I thought.
You can't help but feel sorry for Uva. He didn't really want power, he didn't want to kill anyone, he just wanted to be complete and survive. And always ended up getting screwed over by everyone. Ankh, Maki, Kazari. When he went insane though it was kind of weird he became one of the Angels from Evangelion. (Seriously, he looks just like one of the Angels from Evangelion). The final fight was satisfying though. Ankh giving him the TaJaDor medals, fighting beside one another for the last time. I was kind of hoping for more of a climactic battle between Eiji and Maki though. They built it up through enough of the series. And yes, I know. But I still felt the feels when poor Gamel roamed the streets uselessly trying to ressurect Mezool. All in All, I enjoyed OOO as much this time as I did the first time. So much that I might rewatch Fourze. Better than watching Wizard :D |
A little question on Decade 31, how did those lasers at the background even existed?

Hibiki 11
This is the first time in Kamen Rider where bad cgi has creeped the shit outta me, although mostly because I wasn't expecting it. There was a scene where this mysterious sorceress feeds this episode's makamou some evil power-up thing and the makamou's mouth stretches into this unnatural shape. Ugh... Anyway, Asumu's problems with the whole shoplifting thing two episodes ago continue to grow. He almost got into a wacky sitcom misunderstanding with Mochida after telling her he couldn't meet at the tea shop and then her seeing him at the tea shop with the lady he helped carry groceries for...but thankfully they avoided that. Hibiki having some trouble with these new powered up makamou while Asumu accidentally discovers one of th emany secret doors in the tea house/the Oni's base. All these hidden panels and trap doors can't be too practical... I am and have always been sort of confused by the Makamou. I understand they're an ancient monster race that the Oni have always hunted down and I know that once you beat the two human sized ones, a bigass monster emerges...but I've never really been to figure out their deal. Ryuki 2 So their allotted time in the mirror world is temporary. Makes things more interesting. I'm betting someone's gonna die that way now. And this may be too early to tell...but boy, Knight seems like a smug prick! Man...Shinji just got taught a fucking lesson on the aspects of investigative journalism. He was just trying to save her. Nice to see that he has a heroic streak though. Knight seems to sort of have one too, but he's definitely an asshole for no reason. The chick helping Knight is interesting. She goes on in the hopes of finding her brother, who I assume is not quite missing because a mirror monster kidnapped him. Ryuki finally makes the contract with the dragon and Rider Kicks Tarantulas into a smoldering pile of ashes. Just in time for Knight to be a douchebag and attack him.... |

And taht doesn't amke it better, it still means the ultimate answer is "some super powerful entity did it just because, and the other entity doesn't like it just because." It's laughably underealised and juvinile and still doesn't ab solve the show of it's mountain of other faults and the fact that it is boooooooooring. Don't listen to Switchblade, Agito is dreck. It's slow, boring, there's nothign worth watching it for. No one is engaging, fun to watch, or makes you want to see what happens. The rider stuff is an afterthought and has almost nothing to do with the story overall, the action is terrible. It's completely devoid of entertainment in nearly every fashion. Even the G3 crew who are entertaining at first because they're actually proactive eventually just start going in circles and becoming idiots. There's a solid twenty episode span where nothing at all changes. It's the most grossly over-rated series I have ever watched. |
Now the question is, what is more overrated, Agito or Kuuga?

I've never heard Kuuga called "a masterpiece." |
