With everyone seeing and loving Winter Soldier, in my workplace, even random strangers who pass you in the corridor do that Hail Hydra whisper in your ear like in the movie it's hilarious.

The Devil's Advocate - This movie has always been a pleasure to watch. It has a great build up and all of the super natural elements are done in such a low key manner that when they do occur, it makes it special and exciting every time. Not to mention Pacino is just flat out having fun with Milton. Keanu's acting is wooden, but that is the way his character is supposed to be, so he fits the bill. I also love the living frieze at the end of the movie as it is one of the most visually amazing pieces in movie history. Overall, I give the movie a 7/10.

Just got back from seeing Amazing Spider-Man 2 and....its fantastic. The endless amounts of trailers and promos may make you think that you've practically seen the movie already but in reality there's some great stuff they've kept under wraps. I'm trying to say as little as possible because this is a film best seen blind.
Garfield is still on top form, encompassing all the best aspects of Spidey in a way Macguire can only dream of - the wisecracker, the tragic hero and also the people's hero. Emma Stone is also as great as ever, but its Dane DeHaan that really steals the show. REALLY did not expect to like this Harry Osbourne as much as I did. As is the case with most multi-villain films there is a lot of going on which means some characters don't get as much focus as they should, but the narrative they're going for in this new Spider-Man film series makes it work. This direction sometimes isn't necessarily what you'd expect from a Spider-Man film, but I commend it for not treading the same old ground and making the films interesting while at the same time doing the source material justice. Just one spoiler mention, re Rhino (since its been a burning question) - He's barely in it so I have no idea why he was promoted so heavily. In reality it's actually setting up the next film. |

Glad it sounds fun for some people, though. |

Guess the movie that I am watching right now:
1: The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be... unnatural. 2: Is it possible to learn this power? 1: Not from a Jedi |

I watched Gi Joe Retaliation last night and honestly I loved it. Kind of sucks that Duke died in the first bit of the movie, but what can you do. It still gave us the far to short but no less epic Snake-Eyes vs Storm Shadow. |
