I really don't get the advance color thing. I know a lot of the originals are manga color based. So is advance like the anime version? Either way I'll probably get Trunks.

It's just their way of getting around the whole, "No reissues of web exclusives" crap.

Next year seems like it's going to be a big year for DB figuarts with the 30th anniversary of the first DB anime out by next year and Super will likely be dubbed in the US by next year. I still hoping that SHF Beerus will be made soon.

They showed it off at SDCC 2013 (I actually got to see it in person~)

When asked if they had any plans to release it, they said no. Then again, Master Asia somehow got released, so who knows...if they're showing it off now, maaaayyyybeeee things are changing? I wouldn't hold my breath, personally.

Kind of a shame, Shenron would be the centrepiece of any dragon ball collector's collection easily.

Oddly enough Super Buu/Buu-Han & Beerus are also on display at Tokyo Toy Show but so far their placards still read as TBD. Though with the Advanced Vegeta & Trunks dropping in December & January respectively Bandai may space out releases like Beerus, Jaco, etc.

I still hope SHF Nappa and Buuhan will be made. Seeing that they are doing larger scale Figuarts of The Hulk and Akuma Shogun from Kinnikuman then Nappa should be possible at this point.

A big plus for Nappa is that Broly sold really well from what I gathered so Tamashii may see Nappa as a bit more promising now.

Kinda sad Beerus has no date yet, but he's pretty popular too and he will appear in Super so they may release him sooner than later.

Same here. Though I wish it was his proper first appearance with the full blue undershirt, rather than the half torn off one. But I'll gladly take it. Im all in on DBZ figuarts so I'm down for this one. I'd like to see Teen Gohan like this at some point too.

There is no doubt the Goku sculpt looks great, but I just can't justify spending money on it. It is just one of those figures I would do some cool pictures with at first and then sell him off 2 years later because I regret buying him (as I am currently doing with all of my rider alternate forms).

Dragonball Z figures are never gonna be something I get heavily into, but if I get this Goku and new the Vegeta I think I'll be happy. So glad various reasons always stopped me getting the original SSJ Goku, this one looks so much nicer in every way.

Bluefin just confirmed Mexico Goku for SDCC. I find it hard to believe that they could continue to make this a yearly thing. Not many more repaints come to mind, new releases included.

The next Digimon release is ChaosGallantmon, web-exclusive in November.

Yeah I have to agree. as much as I love Dragon Ball I just don't have a huge desire to get every single character, I'm quite happy with the two that I own(Being Goku and SSJ Vegeta)

Although if they ever make a better looking Goku or Kid Goku I might have to bite on that

Really...? Well, I guess it's true what I've heard. These repaints are attempts to get these same molds back out there while overstepping the exclusivity issue. Wish we got this with the Sentai Figuarts......I'd love a Metallic Armor MMPRs. But come on....where's Sakuyamon, MegaGargomon, Justimon, Seraphimon, or even Gallantmon Crimson Mode/Grani?

But... The original Gallantmon wasn't an exclusive. So this one really is out of left field.

It's seriously a repaint nobody's going to care about because "ChaosGallantmon" has never been anything outside of a card. (Edit: Oh and apparently very minor appearances in a few games. Never has been remotely important though.)

So yet again, I'll be skipping the next release. Glad they're doing anything (unlikely the clearly dropped Pokémon...), but what they are just isn't interesting enough to me.

I saw ChaosGallantmon on Den-O twitter earlier this morning and I did not expect to see it happen. The original Gallantmon was a retail release, why not reissue that instead? This feels rather pointless when they still have yet to do other figuarts on other popular Digimon.

They probably chose to do a repaint because its easy to do and still technically a new character. Also, don't forget that the original was a shelf warmer pretty much everywhere (crazy considering the value now).

Chaos Gallantmon? Really? That's an odd choice. I guess it means they get to use the mold again.
I would much prefer another Digimon (Another Main character/Royal Knight would've been nice, like Magnamon), but eh.

With Tri coming out soon, you would think that Tamashii would jumping on the Digimon Adventure nostalgia train. Maybe next year they might do more Adventure stuff for the Figuart line, but I doubt it.
