What to put in the last two spots? Something that can MegaEvolve would be a good idea but most of the best stones don't come until after the Elite 4. also was hoping to include Gliscor but I can't get a Razor Fang until postgame either.

What about Lucario? I find he makes a really good MegaEvolved Pokemon and is my second most powerful member of my team.

Have you thought of using Blaziken?

I've gotten a lot of use out of Nidoking. It's poison moves are great for taking down fairy types plus it can learn ground, dragon, ghost, and electric moves.

Well, you've already got the ability to Mega Evolve Venusaur... So really I'd focus on others.

An Electric type, such as Raichu, might not hurt. And maybe a Fairy, but I don't know which are really best there yet.

Edit: Oh, yes, Nidoking would be great as well.

Perhaps you could consider Magneton/Magnezone?

They look great! I remember Charizard and Genesect were released in English-speaking countries, weren't they? Do you need to paint/assemble them?

They are model kits so yeah you have to build them, no glue or paint required though, stickers are used for details.

*Edit: I don't know if the kits were released in the USA but if they were Charizard should come with Charmeleon and Charmander too.

No, those are called "Model Kits" but they're not really. They're really badly gimmicked toys. Different from the PokéPla kits.

Oh no, not at all, those are gimmick figures like PkmnMstr said.

These are the Pokepla Charizard and Genesect.
More in line with gundam kits and the like, and yes stickers are required, the amount varies depending on which pokemon.

The Plamon Neo "kits" are fully painted and have a battery powered gimmick.

The much cheaper Poképla model kits feature some articulation and sometimes a movement mechanic. For example Pikachu(the only one I own) has a mechanism where the ears wiggle when you turn its head. It's super adorable.

And yes the actual build kits have stickers for some details.

After reloading 4 times got myself a Timid Mewtwo. Was pleasantly surprised when the Judge gave it an Outstanding rating with high to perfect ratings in HP, Sp.Atk and Sp.Def.

Looks like I've got my me special sweeper for casuals.

On the Black 2 front breeding a few female Timid Charmanders hopefully with Outstanding potential for Sp.Atk and Speed to cross breed with the Solar Power Charmeleon I have in Y. I could try my luck breeding a Timid Charmander in Y. December can't get here sooner. My Sucker Punch Bisharp is waiting for new victims.
