Marvel's apparently delving deeper into TV projects. A new series is being produced starring heroic duo "Cloak & Dagger!"

I finished Daredevil a few days ago and man was it good! I can't wait to see Wilson Fisk again, and for more Netflix shows. It was so good.
|
Cloak and Dagger could be good. My only exposure to them was via the Runaways (man I wish that would get adapter in some way) and I liked them then. Haven't watched an ABC Family/Freeform show in a long time though so not sure what kind of tone it will have, but that part of it does have me a little apprehensive.
|
I've been a Cloak & Dagger fan since the 90s when I read Maximum Carnage. I hope this si true.
|
Daredevil Season 2 was pretty fun. Not as solid as s1, but I had fun. I should really go back and finish Jessica Jones~
Cloak and Dagger getting a show is exciting. I would totally watch it~ |
Who saw the Doctor Strange trailer yet?

I didn't even know a trailer was up :lol

Awesome!!!
|
i love spider man too
|
|
I like it. I hope Sony doesn't screw this movie up.
|
I don't think it will with Marvel being behind it.
|
Reread Civil War in anticipation of the movie.
Still sucks. |
Well I finally caught on AoS today so that I can actually see how the show evolves with the new movie release as it happens. Really curious to see where this goes.
With that said, I'm honestly bored. This Inhuman stuff is sleep inducing. I think the biggest problem is that I hate Grant and his actor, and I'm tired of him being on screen. Let's get a new villain already!! Oh, and now we have Not Gambit as a villain, joy. It also doesn't help that they just completed the Hydra storyline OFF SCREEN!!! I know I wanted Hydra to be done with, but I wanted to actually see it happen so it felt like a payoff. This was just laziness. The Fitz and Simmons make out scene was unneeded. This is ABC, not CW. I did like the stuff dealing with Coulson though, especially the plot convenient shield. |
I can only really watch AoS as it comes on Netflix (Since I don't have the drive to find it streaming online :lol)
Though it seems Inhumans has been removed from Marvel's current movie line up with no scheduled release date, so you might not have to worry about it anymore. (Though they are being adamant in saying it's not cancelled, but Marvel Studio's head has allegedly said he never really had interest in the project, so we'll see where this goes) |
For the new X-men Apolcalypse trailer, is the hinted Wolverine actually Hugh Jackman? Or are they gonna pull a fast one and introduce a younger actor to pick it up once Wolverine 3 is done with and Jackman says goodbye?
|
Nah. They already confirmed that Jackman has a small role in Apocalypse, so it's him.

Honestly, after Wolverine 3, I would be fine with them kind of just...Excluding Wolverine.
The X-Men have plenty of really nice and interesting stories that don't involve Wolverine, or have him in a non-vital role (At least, not important enough that excluding him would alter the story). |

*sigh* Except the movie would clearly have been about the royal family. Which is an entirely different thing. The "no point because the show is" argument is a dumb one.
And I swear we must be watching different shows Kain. All the things you're complaining about I'm loving. The FitzSimmons relationship, for one, is not anywhere near as bad as what's happening over on Arrow. It's not taken over the show entirely for starters. It's just some pretty sensible advancement that's happened over a couple years for two characters. And I've rather enjoyed Brett Dalton as Hive. As for taking out Hydra off screen - pretty sure that was a reference to something that goes down in Civil War. It's probably a pretty nondescript "the government" taking action bit, so the show writers were able to make it Talbot calling the shots. Like the scene last season that showed Coulson supplied the helicarrier to Fury we see him with in Age of Ultron. |
Except the royal family are Fantastic Four characters, so Fox owns them.
As for the Hydra thing, I hope you are right. |

Y'know I keep forgetting Hydra is even a thing in sheild what with the whole inhuman nonsense going on.
Though how crazy would it be if coulson becomes new cap? |

Comic Book Resources has a pic of the "comic costumes" for the newest Bryan Singer X-Men crapfest to hit the cinema. I didn't post the picture since it could be considered a spoiler. Sadly, it continues to show how virtually nothing they've let into the public so far makes this movie look like it takes place in the 1980s.
|
Well we can't really say it is a crapfest yet. After all, DoFP looked like it was going to be crap and that turned out to be the second best X-Men movie out there. If this is as good as DoFP, I will be happy. I doubt it will top First Class though.
|
DoFP not being crap is your opinion and while I respect it, I certainly don't agree. I find Singer's work to be both underwhelming and overrated. I wish Vaughn had stayed with the series. Bringing Singer back in was a step backward, to my mind.
|
Eh. Whoever directed First Class is someone I'm fine with backing, since all the other X-Men movies prior I found to be rather shit. That's just me, though, since a lot of people love those ones and hate FC :lol
