See, this is why Aquaman is not some punchline for DC comic. Sure he makes them and by Jove are they fun when "hammy Aquaman" is what they're going for, but he should NOT be treated as an idiot hindered by dry land and who's only power is talking to goldfish.

I loved going through the easter eggs of the old Bloodgulch Chronicles DVDs. There was one menu where you just let it sit and eventually Burnie would come on and start talking about how wonderful the birds (heard in the background of that menu) were to work with.
And chances are you didn't even notice there were bird noises in the background until that happened.
