For defense we should go with an archelon.

I guess my small problem with Megalodon and Archelon is that, while technically they're prehistoric sea creatures, they just don't scream DINO to me. One's a big 'ol shark and the other is a big 'ol turtle thing. I just think there might be more interesting and more dinosaur looking marine reptiles to choose from.

Your problem is a valid one. But we want people to at least recognize what we're going for here. I know when I planned my own Dino Rider a while back, I planned on using more unknown dinos that lead up to the more known ones. But what can you do? The masses wants recognizability.
