Gundam AGE I liked the majority of. The final quarter of it is really the only part I took issue with. Really wish the show had gotten its originally planned 70 episodes though.

Huh, I didn't know Age was planned for 70 episodes, that would make it a bit more balanced, and that inturn help it make more sense.

Char's Counterattack is one of my favorite anime movies of all time. Absolute must see.

Me? I'm definitely going to watch CCA. I'd like to watch F91 as well because I like the idea of distant UC, but I'm more excited to watch the AU stuff like G and Wing.

And on that note...I mentioned earlier that I heard Turn A is better enjoyed if you've seen what came before and can understand the references. Does that include F91, Victory, and X?

While Turn A does make references to practically every Gundam show that came before it, they aren't necessary in order to enjoy it. It's just a nice bonus ontop of things.

Okay so my question is - I've heard Zeta really ups the ante in terms of stakes, depressing things, death, the horrors of war, etc. If I watch 0080 and 08th before, would that lessen the impact of what Zeta brought to the table?

How much is missing from streaming?

I've checked Netflix, Hulu, and Crunchyroll. However, it's obvious that there are definitely some missing pieces. So, exactly how much is missing and where can one find some of it?

Not really. As long as you've seen Gundam '79 beforehand, you'll get what sort of impact Zeta had.

I will warn you though, War in the Pocket is probably the most depressing entry in Gundam, IMO.
