I don't know why they insist on using these delicate materials on some of their figures. I still barely pose Kamen Rider Black because I don't want to tear the rubbery material in the armpits.

For what it's worth I think by "soft parts" they just mean PVC which a lot of figures use anyway. Seihou THE NEXT Ichigou uses it for his torso and I haven't had any issues with it yet after keeping him in a pretty hunched over pose.

Lol why did I think Stronger was already released but I give them props on staying committed to releasing the "Legendary 7" Showa Riders in the Seihou line because I remember when they first showed them off including Nago's 1st suit design

Hey, so I just bought a Shin Kamen Rider 1 SHF figure that is cheaper than other sellers.

Once the figure arrived and I looked up the box, I noticed that my box and the typical Shin Kamen Rider 1 box had a lot of differences such as that my box said Masked Rider and the original box said Kamen Rider. The original box also has a Holo Tamashii Nations sticker while mine only has a smaller silver sticker.

I also noticed that the layout of my box is more similar to the other Shin Kamen Rider releases (2, 2+1, 0, etc.) and that my figure has plastics on its waist and abdomen.

So, did I buy a fake?

The smaller Nations sticker is the norm these days, and the plastic is always added in the factory before it's sealed

The seal is the same as the ones I found on the SS in a big toy store though.

Oh, and it is holographic, it's just less visible in my room. But, if it's in a brighter room, multiple "Tamashii" are visible in the background(?).

But the seal is the same as the seals on the SS I saw on toy stores (Gaim, Gaia V2, etc.)

Ok, so I just visited this website (https://tamashiiweb.com/special/quality/#seal) and I don't think it's fake anymore because the seal is the same as the one described here and because the box is similar to the other Shin KR releases.
Maybe just a new box?

Nice, I might pick her up down the line but I recently chose to get Gotchard Daybreak because I love the color pallete design and fire form and after seeing a few reviews I was sold on having him as my designated representative for Gotchard figuarts because I might not get anyone else.

I like him too just by browsing through the reviews but as I haven't watched Gotchard yet, I don't commit myself in collecting repaints. Will pick him up if I find him cheap through 2nd hand market.

New SKC Kuuga call "Ancient Warrior Kuuga" to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Kuuga. Will be sold through lottery from 4 April 2025 to 4 April 2025, to be release on June 2025. He will be at 13800 yen and will have Main body, interchangeable wrist parts (3 left, 4 right), pedestal.

I love Kuuga, but this is an easy pass on my end...the weathering isn't really doing it for me but the stand base looks nice.

It being lottery only is a major bummer.

Honestly I think it's a good thing that this is just a minor repaint of a retail release, rather than it be the release of an older P-Bandai figure and have that be a lottery.

I mean if any SKC release should be a lottery item, it should be stuff like this. The original, ancient Kuuga is a niche most collectors will more than likely be fine missing out on.

I'd be more interested in a Gozyu Wolf to be honest.

The problem of the sentai figuarts is the price is almost guaranteed to drop (quite a bit) after releasing, so really no problem in preordering or whatsoever.

Do note, however, this this in an SKC of Akarenger, the original Red Ranger and can represent Super Sentai as a whole (just like how Ichigo is often used to represent the Kamen Rider franchise as a while.) That alone is guaranteed to keep the price floating for a while, if not cause it to rise in the aftermarket.

If you're uncertain about buying a Sentai Figuart waiting is definitely the right choice, all of them have hit clearance so far.

Me personally, if I want them I do pre-order, I'm too afraid that the figure I'm interested in is the first one to break that trend :lol
