Huh, from that angle, I can see how his 'ear' is the 'A' in the Geats logo, especially since that orange stripe on his helmet is the horizontal line in the capital A. But man oh man, I'm liking that bike helmet vibe we're getting here, especially since as a kid I'd wear a bike helmet backwards and pretend I was a superhero with how the holes on the back of them looked like eyes to me.

You know what I hope comes back... gimmick stealing. Like just certain Riders losing certain parts and forms for a while. We haven't really had a series that fully takes advantage of that concept since OOO I feel.

Fully agree! I love the dynamic with the gimmick items in OOO, and with this arc being competition themed and with the toys being modular belts this feels like a really good opportunity to play with these ideas!

I'd love to see a story line where someone underhandedly steals a bunch of gimmicks from the cast to have all the items for themself, and all the other riders have to team up to fight in their blank forms together to get their items back!

And just generally seeing forms moving back and forth constantly would be really exciting and engaging, it would help make whoever has the most items feel "ahead" of everyone else and would be easy to create some really dire feeling situations

I thought we'd see some of that sort of stuff in Zero-One, and it was sad to see it only happen sort of one time

Yeah, I think OOO was sort of the last time gimmick stealing was treated as big deal. Saber had a small bit where Reika was stealing ridebooks for Master Logos' ritual, but Touma had obtained Dragonic Knight and then Primitive Dragon by that point so it barely mattered. Zero-One had Jin steal the Falcon progrise key near the beginning, but Aruto never really made an effort to get it back and was still getting other side forms at the time, so again it didn't feel like it mattered.

As for Writer *sigh* i do hope Yuya improve after Writing 2 shows to me Ex-aid and Zero sometimes feel to same in formula... but i give Yuya Credit for setting Up early World Building and Memorable Characters i give him that but he always this is what i notice from his writing:
-MC always feel bland in Comparisson to Other Side characters
-He always somehow incoporate redeemable Villains
-He somehow make Evil CEO that turn into Joke later on( Although Dan Kutoto is massive success due to his actor)
-I dunno Why he kinda poor when it comes to write Womens even tho they become riders ( Poppy/Valkyrie)
-Always incoporote rider that died in 1/4 season then come back in 3/4 of season(Lazer/Jin)

Overall Yeah i kinda Mix but i know i will enjoy the show at least to quarter to the season

the SHF for Geats is going to be soooo goood. If he doesn't come with his gun, I think we have no choice but to riot.

I didn't notice the scarf until people pointed it out, but I love it!

Also, I'm looking forward to the protagonist, since it'll be a breath of fresh air to have a cocky protagonist.

I also wonder if there's going to be more Riders than forms, or at least auxiliary forms. Since this is a Battle Royale, the other Riders (or at least unnamed) will either be mook Riders like the Rider Players, or just random Riders.
