Aw man, sucks about Carter :(

I never quite understood why they've been trying to get Mockingbird her own show for so long. She was one of the least interesting characters in AoS's season 2, her role didn't feel important beyond random stressed moments with her ex-husband whomever, and aside from the S2 finale where she took a bullet to the shoulder, I never really cared about her (And even then, fucking everybody got wrecked in the S2 finale, so she wasn't some kind of special case).
It's not to insult the fans who were interested in the Most Wanted series, I'm just kind of confused over why they've been wanting to push Mockingbird and get her a show so badly... |
I just think it's hilarious that they wrote out Bobbi and Hunter out of AoS for Most Wanted just to have it not get picked up. That's funny.
I'm glad though. They're both super boring and I had no interest in their series whatsoever, but I probably would have forced myself to watch it anyway due to my commitment to the MCU. This way is better. |
I never even heard of this Most Wanted series until yesterday, but it doesn't sound all that entertaining.
All I want is for Bobbi to take up a damn costume. |
I am so glad there is only one episode left of this season of AoS. The fight between Hive and Lash was cool, for the whole 5 seconds it lasted. Like WTF? They did all of this build up and then did pretty much NOTHING with Lash throughout the entire second half of the season. Then when they finally are going to do something with him, it ends on a whimper. God this season is almost as bad as Legends of Tomorrow. Also, they turned Talbot back into a total asshole, especially when Coulson is HIS boss.
|
Man, it seems AOS just can't do much anything right. I still need to watch S3, but Netflix refuses to put any episodes of it up. Oh well. Considering The Inhumans movie is currently shelved, AOS isn't a "Must Watch" anymore, so I'm not exactly racing to see more of it.
|
Netflix doesn't usually put things up until sometime after the season has finished, I think.

Yeah, AoS's second season didn't show up on Netflix until the end of June last year.
|
Eh, I'll keep watching AoS but the tie ins just haven't really beeen as game changing as the Winter Soldier one...
|
Rumors going around that Blade, Moon Knight, and Ghost Rider are getting Netflix series.
|
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah...
This season finale was a mixed bag. There were some great moments in it that were followed up by poorly conceived moments, especially the last 5 minutes of the show, which made absolutely not f'ing scense. I think the worst part was just how quickly it jumped 6 months later without any closing remarks and whatnot for Lincoln's sacrifice. It just feels like they were all, "He just saved... Oops, we don't have enough time, gotta jump into the teaser for next season." It was very jarring and tact on. Not to mention the doctor pretty much making a female version of Ultron was lame. I liked seeing Hive's true form, but why did they wait so long to show it? And why did they have to go back to Grant's face? God this is so stupid. This season was mediocre at best and the worst of the three seasons. Everything felt so by the book and generic that the show never took any risks. Hell, they even wiped the main villains out off screen. I know I was sick of Hydra, but that was even more insulting to spend 3 seasons on it as the writers of the show clearly don't have any respect their audience. And then we had the lame way to get rid of Bobbi and Hunter from the show. I was expecting them to show up here to actually do something, but nope, they are just forgotten, which is also lame. This season sucked and I don't know if I can find any reason to come back next season. I doubt they are going to bother with the Serpent Society and this show hardly feels like it has any connection to the MCU at all at this point. Hell, nothing came out of the whole Sokovia Accords argument Coulson had with Talbot last week as if it was only there say, "SEE!! THIS SHOW IS CONNECTING WITH CIVIL WAR!!! LOOK!!!" On the positive side, Lincoln and Hive just chillin in space was pretty awesome and a nice moment. I also love Fitz's comment before he shot Not-Magneto. Oh, and the discussion between Radcliff and Coulson was handy. |

Also, unlike the others, a lot of the Rider's problems, both internal and external, come from dealing with the supernatural, not crime on the streets. I think Ghost Rider might just be a little too expensive, unless they go with your route of giving him a shorter run (Or make all the demons dudes with contacts, and minimize screen time for GR proper, since the Netflix series are a lot more about personal drama than action) |

Ghost Rider would be an interesting one but as someone stated earlier, it would be a challenge because of SFX budget and everything. I'd definitely want a Moon Knigh series. Moon Knight has been one that's been mentioned many times as a potential Netflix series, so i'd like to see that one being made. Plus I've recently got into Moon Knight so it'd be nice to see a live-action one. |
Blade Netflix series would be cool if they get Wesley Snipes back. They could retcon Blade 3 and pretend that it never happen. Ghost Rider and Moon Knight would be cool. I been a fan of Moon Knight since I play as him in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.
|
I'm always down for more Netflix MCU series, so I hope the rumor proves true, but man...if they stick to only 2 seasons a year, to get out all these series is gonna take ages, especially since the successful ones are likely to get more seasons...and we're only like halfway through the Defenders' series.
|
I would rather see a new Ghost Rider film with a R rating, but that won't happen given how the last two films give people a bad taste in their mouth.
|
I don't see why Ghost Rider has to be all CGI. They were setting skulls on fire in movies well before CGI existed.
Frankly, I say cut all of the Netflix series down to like 6-8 episodes a season. JJ and the first season of DD really suffered from being 13 episodes. |
Because GR's head would otherwise be a skull shaped helmet set on fire. It would look conspicuously large and awkward, unfortunately.
I think Moon Knight has the best premise for a Netflix series, since his mental health issues are definitely ripe for some of that character drama the Netflix series does well enough~ |

Only if they give him his recent black with white cape costume. |
I just hope he uses a costume at all.
And I kinda want the dominantly white costume. It'd be a big contrast from the dark tone of both his series usually takes as well as how the Netflix series are directed. |
I saw Captain America: Civil War on the Thursday night preview. Six days later, I skipped my ethics class to watch it again.
I really want to watch it a third time. And possibly a sixth time. :lolol |
So, this is Marvel's "big idea" to rejuvenate the comics-verse.
Spoilers, obviously: http://www.theouthousers.com/index.p...-rogers-1.html |
Well that sure is stupid.
|
Yeah, that's just unbelievably dumb.

That's some 90s level stupid.

It could be interesting. Is he actually a member, is he faking, is he brainwashed, etc. Of course, they could complete bomb the entire thing in innumerable ways, but who's counting?

Yeah, that is really stupid. Maybe in the movies it could work, but Captain America has been through so much that this revelation makes no sense. Reminds me of the end of episode 1 of The Man in the High castle. Where the main character who escapes the Nazis is revealed to actually be working for them. |
That's not your everyday stupid. That's something more. That's advanced stupid.
|
IMO Everyone is just overreacting. Its just a way to provoke fans and get them talking about the issue as well as an attempt to keep people past issue 1. Steve is playing hydra for fools here plain and simple. Who would be a better mole than the man how has literally spent most of his adult life fighting HYDRA? It's called a long con and honestly I'd like to see where this goes
|
I can't believe they just... that was... WHAT THE FUCK MARVEL?! They just Zack Snyder'd Captain America!!! Cap is the ONE person you don't do that too!!

It would be Snydering Captain America is Snyder made Superman Lex's long lost space brother and he deliberately attacked Gotham and Metropolis, instead of destruction just being caused because he happens to be fighting there. |
