Why not use amazon? Since your buying most of kits at B&N then you'd spend about the same on the site. get multiple things and you get free shipping too

I prefer going to HLJ, I only use Amazon as a last resort and most of the time they're not directly from Amazon. I actually don't mind using it all, but taxes kills me when I spend on a bulk of items. Plus they take a while to get their kits in since most of them come from bluefin. Its actually where I'm going to get my Dark Matter Exia MG, he releases a month later compared to the other retailers such as HLJ I only pre-ordered him there since he was sold out >_>

One HG, one Backpack/weapon pack, and one SD kit.

Also note the images are just place holder not the actually silhouette of the kits themselves.

Lot of people are already assuming the HG is Transient and the 2nd highest possibility being The End.

Red Amazing WArrior was like that the same way, "Hey we have a kit and a backpack/weapon pack in Jan!"

Nobody really knew at the time Red Warrior was going to be released in Jan until later confirmation.

Also aside from the Try Burning Silhouette, the 2nd backpack is the Full Package backpack from S1, and the SD is the 1st Winning Gundam if you look closely, don't know why the chose these images, but hey if the HG is Tranisent Gundam I'm all in.

What an Amazing looking gunpla.

I seem to be the only person who's super-underwhelmed with the Red Warrior. It's just a red, generic-looking gundam that looks like nothing in particular, has no distinguishing features other than being red, and just comes with a bunch of weapons that are kinda OK but can be bought on their own. It's the first of the Try kits that I've had zero interest in owning.

Considering it comes from the Perfect Gundam 3 (which was already a sucessor to the Perfect Gundam, an Rx-78 custom) I can sort of see your perspective.

I think all of Tatsuya gunpla's are just kinda generic when you think about it as a whole, with slight minor upgrades. But I believe due to the character himself is what makes the gunpla just as popular, it's one of those rare times where you like the gunpla because of the character not just because it's looking.

Well aside from Dark Matter Exia, but he's different :lol

It's just a red gundam. No creative design choices, no interesting features, no fancy striker pack, just a really bland-looking gundam.

The Bearguy San's a friggin' Bearguy.

The Kampfer Amazing has a distinct design coupled with a customizable weapons system.

The GM Sniper K9 has a transforming backpack, holsterable pistols, mini-soldiers, and a big, awesome rifle.

The Star Build Strike has an opening shield, transforming gun, and a spectacular set of trans-blue wings.

The Quebley Papillion is a sticker-reliant piece of crap.

The Miss Sazabi has a massive presence and some awesome beam weapons.

The Dark Matter Exia has a kick-ass color scheme, transforming backpack, and overall intimidating appearance.

The Lightning Gundam transforms, looks fast, and has a dual-purpose sniper rifle.

The Winning Gundam turns into support units for the Burning and Lightning.

The Bearguy F comes with a mini version of itself and a chair to carry it in.

The EZ-SR can be build in three different configurations.

The R-GyaGya has a distinct silhouette, movable shoulder shields, and a double-ended beam lance.

The Mega-Shiki has beam katanas and a huge transforming backpack cannon.

The Amazing Red Warrior has a single-tone color scheme, generic silhouette, and a weapon assortment that doesn't look like it belongs on the Warrior any more than any other kit.

I kinda get the whole modular weapons thing, but they don't look like they belong on the kit any more than they would on any other.

How is that different from the Build Strike,Build MK II,Wing Fenice,Qubeley Papillon,GM Cardigan and Lightning or any of Tatsuya's other suits though?

*sigh* I literally JUST wrote a great big post right above yours that explains my point. Every other kit from BF has some sort of distinct and creative weapon, design choice, or function. Accidentally dropping a RX-78-2 into a bucket of red paint and slapping whatever random weapons are lying around onto it is the exact opposite of creative.

Not really the Build Strike,Build MK II and Amazing Exia are just like the Red Warrior in that they're slight retools of the Strike,MK II and Exia R2 only they have jet planes on their backs instead of weapons,
the Zaku Amazing is just an R2 Zaku painted in Char colors with a bunch of crap put on it,
the Wing Fenice is a broken Wing Gundam,
The Kamper Amazing just has different shoulders and more crap on it,
The Gundam X Maoh is a recolor,
The Qubeley Paillon just has a different head and feet,
The GM Cardigan is just a Powered GM in yellow with crap on it's back
and the Lighting just looks like a blue Zeta

it sounds like your issue is simply you don't like the design which is cool not everyone's going to like the same kits

It's not about how much is changed, it's about how unique and distinctive the end result it. If you de-colorized the Amazing Exia, Star Build Strike, and Wing Fenice, they'd still look awesome. The Warrior's just... red. And the other boosters look like they belong on the kits they come with, but the Warrior's weapons would look equally kinda-fitting on any other kit.
