Great pictures! I kinda like the reuse of places so when you watch you're like, "It's that place from OOO" or, "They're under that bridge again."

Why Toei don't reuse they old locations ?

I like the reuse, it's reassuring, like an old friend. Like - the world's falling apart but, Hey! Kyuranger are battling it out that same amphitheater as every Toei toku since '95! We might just be okay, after all....

Should Super Sentai take a break from using Aliens or Mystical Villains and instead use on Human Villains?

I mean like Dopant or Zodiarts-Type villain group for Super Sentai! When the last time we have a HUMAN Antagonist group for Super Sentai?

Maybe Toei may use this concept in future Sentai Show since they willingly to take a risk for Super Sentai when they made Kyuranger a 9 Ranger Show.

Yeah not buying anything about Akiba s3 just yet. That's an incredibly vague post with no source behind it whatsoever.

Prime would probably be a better place for it, but I think a lot of people like to pretend Akibaranger was more financially successful than it actually was.

And even if S3 never happens, the ending of S2 was a good end to that show.

Yeah, but as I said - as good as Akibaranger season 2 was it was hardly a financial success. Pretty much EVERY bit of merchandise it had bombed.

Which is why I said Amazon Prime might be a better place for it as it won't be so merch-driven. But it's also been three years without any sort of peep out of anything Akibaranger.

Okay, so because you don't think it is means it automatically isn't? And I never said it was part of the same cosplay thing, just one like it. The fact is nobody knows what the Kyoryuger thing is right now.

As for a source about it not being a financial success, how about (as I said in my last post) every bit of merch bombing and ending up on clearance everywhere? S2 Akiba Blue and Yellow are two of (if not the) worst selling Figuarts of all time and the role play stuff was all heavily discounted too.

And yes it is Super Sentai's 40th anniversary, so wouldn't it make sense to announce that DURING Super Sentai's 40th anniversary?

If Akibaranger comes back then great. I love the show and will always be down for more. But right now there is absolutely no grounds for this other than some random guy making a claim on Facebook. I don't think I'm in the wrong for needing a little more substantial than that to buy into this.

Ah yeah the 2 Akiba girls they did sell poorly. All other Sentai Figuarts sold well that were a part of S2.

From what I've seen, people do use DVR in Japan. Super Sentai airs very early in the morning, I can see why the older fans would use DVR since Sunday is the only day that they can sleep in.

What if SS move to Sunday ?

Hmm... You know, it would make sense for why the suits look different. I mean, I can't think of any other series where the suits look radically different from the show for a movie, while... sure they only did it twice, but that still means Akiba s2 has done it more than any other series.

I'm going to put this down as a "cautiously optimistic." I'm not saying it IS true and I'm not going to be anticipating, but I'll be happy if it is.
