finally finished attack on titan on Netflix. while I enjoyed it and thought it was good, I felt like it stopped at the halfway mark of the story. of course a lot of animes based on manga never go all the way through, which sucks.

Well yeah, it stopped at volume 8 of the manga. The series will continue when there is enough manga material to cover.

I've only watched the first five episodes of the anime, but I can definitely see why you would say this. Those episodes were needlessly stretched out.

Yea I just got board of it. I need to pick up straight from start or it not my thing. It's like gintama I can't get in that show and see no point in it.

Give the manga a try. It feels much faster paced and things just become amazing in Volume 4 and then things just go holy **** by the end of Volume 11. In fact, it went holy **** in Volume 9, but V11 is where the story just goes full on. I cannot wait for V12 to come out next month.

I liked the anime but I can't deny that the stretches of episodes where people sat around and did absolutely nothing for a majority of them is kinda rough.

AOT is definitely an anime series that's better marathoned as opposed to watching weekly. It does pick up once the Female Titan arch starts so I do suggest keeping up with it.

I like Moonlight's, but I the lack of blue bothers me.

I think that may be my problem with them too, I like the shape of the dress and the accesories but the lack of the main color is upsetting.

The weird thing is that even if I have only seen one episode with those forms, I'd swear they have color highlights in the show.

Still watching Ao no Exorcist also watching various Gundam Wing episodes plus in the middle of the Nirvana Arc of Fairy Tail & soon gonna be finished with Hellsing so as soon as episode 13 is done on FUNimation Free via XFinity On Demand I hope they add Hellsing Ultimate also gonna start watching Black Lagoon & then Black Lagoon Second Barrage, but like Boondocks on Adult Swim Toonami is gonna have to censor the REALLY vulgar words in Black Lagoon sadly :L.

It was pretty good, thought there were some pacing issues here and there, and the animation looked cheaper in this episode than in previous ones. It bothered me that they animated silly stuff in serious scenes (Marine's fighting after they rescue Shypre and Coffret, and various facial expressions). One funny thing about this episode was that it was telling the viewer "You guys, Cure Moonlight is awesome" every chance it got. :lol I love her design...here's hoping the show's building up of her pays off, and I enjoy her as a character as well.

It was pretty good. It was cool to see Tsubomi pull a Ryotarou and try to get stronger. It bothered me that Erika was like "As long as we trust in each other, we'll be ok. We'll find a way to beat Dark Precure!" It's like...but...learning how to fight better would help seeing as you two, you know...fight.

What can I say? It's the truth. :p

So many Gurren Lagann-esque shots in the latest Kill la Kill. I'm getting a bit emotional that its coming to an end next week.

HeartCatch Precure 12 and 13.

12: It was filler, but it was cute filler.

13: I knew it! I knew Dark Precure was Moonlight's dark half! I also noticed something about their hair...Moonlight's is lavender, and Dark's is a very very dark green, and those two colors are on opposite sides of the color spectrum. I hope Yuri gets her Precure Seed back soon. Also who the heck is that guy who sometimes shows up?

Cliffhanger yes. But not a very good episode if you ask me. Ever since the whole "I'm the universe so go be normal thing" happened, the show has lost a lot of my interest. The stuff with Goto was interesting for a minute. But seeing as Sawada is the note the show is going to end on I have to say I'm disappointed. Because then that means all the awesome bat shit crazy stuff that's happened up until now didn't really matter, not when an average evil teenager is the final villain :(

Pretty sure there's more to him than just being an "average evil teenager" considering no one else but Red Axe and Goto have seen him, he can strike multiple people at once and he's technically dead.

The final obstacle in Flamenco's case isn't an even bigger bad guy. It's most likely going to end up being himself, like he thought, which in my opinion is probably the best way to end things after how far he's come.

HeartCatch Precure Episode 14:

I know I always say this, but it was pretty good. This show seems to tackle some issues most kid's shows don't [(kinda) gender identity with Itsuki, and now a parent's death]. This episode really resonated with me, as I lost my father when I was very young. I'll admit, I got a little choked up during this episode.

I get that there's something special going on with him, but compared to the wacky over the topness of everything else, he's rather anti-climactic.

HeartCatch 15:

We got some really good character development for Itsuki. This is probably my favorite episode thus far. I find it weird that I find it weird calling her a girl, when I had no issues calling Naoto one when they had that revalation in Persona 4...maybe it's because Itsuki disguised it better than Naoto did. :lol Sadly, I found out that she becomes Cure Sunshine, but then again...I had a feeling she would become one, given how often she was featured. I think the dude who got his Heart Flower stolen's motivation and redemption came a bit out of nowhere, since all he did before that was be a huge jerk. I really like Itsuki's grandpa; he's a cool dude.

I liked it. Erika got a chance to shine, for a change, which was nice.

Kill la Kill 16.

Between the incest and ridiculous shift in the focus of the plot, I think this show is losing me a bit. At the beginning this show worked within its own ridiculous set of rules and logic, but with each bump up in scale the less thought out the show feels, and the more plain stupid it feels like it's becoming.

Saw episodes 57 & 58 of Fairy Tail yesterday. Here's what I thought of episode 58, crazy psycho white haired celestial wizard asshole. I HATED Angel so much the fact that she FORCED Aries to FIGHT Leo was just wrong then she used a cannon-type celestial spirit to shoot them both, seriously DAHELL. I liked how near the end of the episode Hibiki gave Lucy some epic ass kicking magic power & she beat the shit outta Angel :lol.

I actually think the "you made your own worst enemy" angle is a perfect one to end the show one...

Indeed, one of the many things I love about the show.

I loved that episode, it was very well handled, and the good news is that Nami-Nami and Rumi are recurring characters.

Yeah up to this point I still call Itsuki a "he" from time to time, it's weird.
But you are right, Naoto simply screamed "girl" for some reason.

Kill la Kill 17 - Not a mark on the episode, granted, but the subs were kinda bad this episode. Underwater are usually great, but the grammar sucked this episode.

Anyway, as this was basically as close as it comes to filler in this show, it didn't have much of an opportunity to go completely off the rails which was a nice change. That absolutely BRUTAL twist at the end was a pleasant surprise though!

It was rather good. Dang...Yuri is really serious, but I guess I can understand. I don't get why she stepped in...Blossom and Marine were handling it. It seems like even though she says she doesn't want to fight, she can't stay away. She was ready to throw down right there. I hope she stops being a stick in the mud, because she's kind of a stick in the mud.
