Hello friends! I hope you're all well.

I'm feeling like buying stuff for people for some reason. Hopefully this will pass or I can condense it towards one person (my Significant Other).

I fried my brain earlier trying to think about my future, but I went outside and that helped me clear my head a bit.

Otherwise I'm thinking of putting my gunpla away to clear shelf space for actually displaying my SO-DO figures. Also need to find places for all my loose MTG cards too though, so this might be a bit of a project.

Edit: Might actually post pics of my room in a bit, cause it is a mess.

Just like buying stuff for yourself, buying too much for others is another rabbit hole I advise taking caution on(I speak from experience).

I also relate to you right now in another way, as I've been doing a fair bit of self reflection as well as thinking about the bonds my friends and I have lately. Just gotta keep reminding myself that my brain is just being mean sometimes, ya know?

Hang in there, folks. With the times being what they are, it's super easy to feel isolated or uncertain. It's good to take some breaks, not let yourself get too wound up in anxiety. At the very least, there's a board full of people hoping you're doing well!

Speaking of friendship and toku! I was looking through the catalog for comics and graphic novels shipping in May, and I was shocked and excited to see the following all-ages graphic novel coming out from Scholastic's Graphix imprint:

I mean, this is pretty huge? Graphix basically owns the kids' graphic novel market, and this book is going to be available at every Scholastic Book Fair at every elementary school in America. That's huge.

But beyond that... a graphic novel about two kids forming a friendship over Kamen Rider?! (Sorry, Shinpi Rider or "Mystery Rider", I love that substitution.) Very excited to see how this one turns out, and I wanted to make you all aware of it. It'll be available everywhere the first week of May!

Not doing good today! I had to make the agonizing decision to put my cat down. He was a 16 year old purebred Siamese and slowly getting worse. Had the feline equivalent of COPD and down to the bone. We knew he was going to go sometime this week, but it was hard to commit to this. I got him just before Space Patrol Delta began! He saw me through high school and college!

I'm very sorry for your loss. I've had to say goodbye to my favorite dog back in 2019, right before Christmas, and I was absolutely miserable for a couple days. I know I should probably be used to this by now, since I've known three great dogs who I loved very much come and go, and it's never easy, no matter how many times you have to go through it. But he was special to me, so he probably hit me harder than the others, if I'm being honest. But I hope the best for you moving forward, buddy.

The artist of Fearless has some pages up on his site from what look like a pitch document for the book. The art is colorful and energetic, and that fourth page! Psyched for this kid's book about toku friendships!

I really like the art from Zack Wilcox. His other works look interesting too, but it doesn't look like they have been published.

Definitely gonna keep an eye out for Shinpi Rider!

Welp, I misread/ didn't read the description for an auction on Zenmarket I won. I was hoping to get the full Metsubojinrai memorial set, but the one I bid on was missing the ark-scorpion key and zetsumetsu driver pieces, and I missed that because I didn't read closely enough.

I found another auction that includes them and doesn't have the Dodo key, so that's hopefully gonna work out, but I'm expecting to pay at least 8000 yen for that set bringing my total to like 17000 yen (edit: before shipping to the US, which will probs be a bit but that's because I'll be buying other stuff to throw in the box) which ain't great.

Also if anyone wants a memorial sting scorpion, or burning falcon hit me up.


Edit: So I just opened my Beyondriver, and I'm wondering where I should put it. I could put it behind my bed with the other belts, but I don't know if I should reserve that space for main rider belts. Any thoughts?

Update on room: Got the few role play weapons I own mounted on the wall.

Edit: I forgot to type this bit. The tilt of the sunglasslasher is bothering me, but I can't figure out how to fix it. Buster's sword is alright, but I'm worried it might not be as in place as I'd like it to be. The Taja Spinner is okay, but kind of loose on the nails it's hanging on.

Edit 2: Despite my gripes I'm feeling pretty good about my room. Next step is to move my paintings around.

A part of me is waiting for the Buster sword to fall and knock over the shelves.

Woke up this morning from a really weird dream.

So basically I was escaping from a terrorist hideout on a mountain by skiing down. I eventually crashsed into a studio building where a really scrawny Emperor Palpatine and a really buff Darth Vader with a Jamaican accent was hosting this Asian-style game show called "Empire Taiwan Z". And then I saw one of the Penguins of Madagascar strapped to this giant glowing column. I can't really remember much of what happened next except that Rico crashed through the walls and the whole place started exploding.

And then I woke up. So yeah my day's been good so far, how are you?

I mean I'm half expecting that too happen, but I really hope it doesn't


Also I have made a list of stuff I want to buy, and so far I've only covered the DX saber stuff, the 5 waves of SODO and the Neo Decadriver and I'm at over 600, so that ain't great.
