Which ending are you referring to though? I liked the manga ending as it showed us what was going on with the characters a year later and how they have grown.

I liked the way the manga did that better though. Yeah, he still whined like a bitch, but he took it more like a man in the manga compared to the anime where he ran off in tears to die pathetically.

See I've only seen the anime.*my brother's a fan of the series* But I've heard the manga's ending wasn't that different save for the epilogue so I included it.

I have to agree with you. On this so out of all the mediums on how light took his death of it the manga where he took it like a man and stayed in the wear house the Japanese live action film still only medium that adapted the manga way of light death. Still the epilogue needs to be adapted. Also I was really hoped that the ova would of done manga ending not just used the anime anime.
