Someone in our "How is Everyone"-topic mentioned it, and I heard other people had the same problem. It's not for all items, but it seems like it appeared with Premium Bandai Exclusives like the Maron Lockseed and other stuff.

I myself haven't checked it out since I didn’t pre-order anything there lately, but if that's really the case I need to hunt one down on release.

It's strange but lately NY get's more and more inflexible. Shipping get's more expensive, you can't pay later on all orders. And cancellations are always a problem, I guess they're not doing so well these days.

With them being one of the only places that offer a "pay later" option I wouldn't be surprised if it's led to them suffering somewhat, but at the same time I expect that's what draws most people to using them in the first place. I can suffer the rather high shipping costs in exchange for not having to pay up front.

If it's true I guess I'll be buying a lot less exclusives from now on :/

It's a middleman-service that exports stuff that Bandai isn’t selling outside of Japan, like Web-Exclusive SHF's, among other things.

@Topic: I also just realized the new Omnimon has clear ports in his back that for one hold his cape a little bit up so it flows better, and two you can plug the arms of the Tamashii stages in there to form the cape to your liking. That's awesome.

So glad I never bought the old one now. This one is just so much nicer - the anime colours, the retooled proportions, the cape. Very excited for this!

So after seeing the Ranma 1/2 Figuarts...is anyone else a bit disappointed they're based off the manga art style and not say the OVA/Movie style?

One of the reasons I jumped on the Sailor Moon Figuarts is because they were based off the anime designs, which for me, was better than the manga style.

I dunno...In some cases I just prefer the designs of a series' anime over the manga even if that's the ORIGINAL look for something.

Oh god, I need that. The original one's cape sucked shit and they chromed EVERYTHING. It's starting to chip on the sword's handle just because they decided that part needed to be chromed, too. >>

Bluefin can release Digimon figuarts/D-Arts both retail and web exclusives. I won't have to worry about it too much. Anyways, the new Omnimon figuart looks great, but the original is still a good looking figure in my opinion. I want this to support the Digimon line, but I'm getting sick of recolors. Can we get more new Digimon figuarts that are not recolors. If Tamashii wants to jump on the Tri hype train then there is a good amount of characters from the first season that can make good figuarts.

Well the page is labeled with the 15th-Anniversary Logo, so maybe that's just the starting point. Omnimon will appear in Tri so that's a reason to make a more anime accurate version. It would be cool to get more, and I hope they do it.

While your point still stands somewhat, this isn't just a recolour. The figure has had a pretty extensive retool as well. At the very least it has new feet and a new chest.

Ah, the feet are different! I've been staring at them every time I bring up pictures of him. In fact, the entire leg - every part of it - looks different.

Damn. There's actually a lot different. Maybe I will go and order this then if Bluefin brings him over (they still haven't said anything about ChaosGallantmon have they? Little concerning).. wouldn't be so opposed to having two if they're this different..

Edit: The arms are totally different too. Wargreymon shoulder shield is attached differently, Metalgururumon head has different teeth and the shoulder spikes are rounder. Daaamn this does look fine.

Well the parts for the cape have to be new too and as I said there are the connectors in the back, that's also new.

Very, very little actually looks the same. I think maybe only the elbows are the same, but for all we know could function differently. You're right that the head is new. The biceps are molded differently. The crotch guard looks like it's sitting more flush, but the hips in general look close enough to the old one. As does the abdomen. Can't access mine right now to look, but I can't find much different with the Wargreymon head. The horns look like they might be though.

I have the original D-Arts Omnimon and yeah, the feet aren't that flat on the one I own.

I didn't notice that the feet and head are different. Given how nostalgic I'm with the first three seasons, I will likely buy it. The cape looks amazing though. I wish the SHF Kiwami Arms had the same type of cape.

Definetly. It's advertised as the "Digimon 15th Anniversary - Bokura no War Game!"-Version, but it's an extensive retool with new colors. I would even go as far as call it what a Shinkochu Seiho is for Kamen Rider, this thing looks so good.

Yeah. Normally I prefer plastic capes if they are smaller (like the "wings" on Mango and Lemon Energy) but if you can't find a way to split and articulate bigger capes (like on Zeronos Vega) cloth is the way to go. They probably didn’t want to do it for Kiwami since the back has this golden motive on it that's easier to print on plastic.

Since this figure is a little bit bigger and they have found a way to "articulate" the cape I'm all in for cloth though, especially after Matrix said what I always assumed, that the original plastic cape on Omnimon is pretty bad.

I kinda look at it as... D-arts Ominmon, and Figuarts Omnimon .

I don't know why Bluefin didn't announce ChaosGallantmon on Facebook. It seems like Bluefin has been either slow on announcing things on Facebook or chooses not to bother announcing it. As long if people keep on buying Digimon figuarts in the US, Bluefin will keep on importing them and continued to be a strategic line.

So far Bluefin's strategic lines that they can import web exclusives are Digimon, Dragon Ball, Godzilla, Injustice, Mario, Megaman, Naruto and Sailor Moon. I may be forgetting some others. I know Bluefin stop importing Tiger & Bunny and Sentai/Power Rangers figuarts (which explains why they didn't bother importing Golden Ryan and Vul Shark & Vul Panther).

I thought they did announce it on facebook or I could be remembering wrong. I actually have ChaosGallantmon pre-ordered from Amazon.ca but it was only available for a short period.

I wonder if SHF Diaboromon can work if they are doing a new Omnimon figure? Having a non-recolor Digimon figuart to go alongside Omnimon would be neat. His arms are long as hell though.

Yeah I don't think the arms would look good articulated with balljoints. And bendy wires are out of the question, at least for me. He also has these long claws and dorsal spikes...

I would love if they could do a figure for Diaboromon. Like, give him an alternate cleft head with the clock inside in which Omnimon's sword fits into and I would be so happy.

I think they could Diaboromon similar to how they've done some of the DBZ figures. Just give him interchangeable arms.

I realize I'm never going to get it now, but still... I can't help but find it incredibly low of them to have done it with it. (Also literally giving it away with every purchase? Come on.. Because yeah people buying DBZ or Sailor Moon stuff want this random mushroom...)

Not really cause they're technically not wrong. The Japanese 1-up was an exclusive, too. It was a first run exclusive. Easier to get than a con exclusive, but still exclusive. It wasn't even advertised in the official images when Yoshi was released. People literally only realized the 1-up came with first runs like a week or so before he started shipping.

And then Yoshi came out two whole months later over here, plenty of time for that info to spread and expect him to come with it too. Bluefin releases have included first run bonuses before - the Wizard Strike Robe for example. So I still don't think it was unreasonable to have had hope for it.

But whatever. Fuck it. Nobody's gonna agree with me, so just whatever.

Speaking of Digimon villains, I would totally like to see SHF Myotismon. They can do really cool things with his cape and a countless swarm of bats that they can add to do his cape.

I'm literally surprised that hasn't been made yet.
