I can't wait for Shodo Zi-O releases, especially for Shodo Zi-O Basic Form and Shodo Ohma Zi-O.

Yes, Zi-O is the only missing Heisei main Rider. Missing secondaries are Ibuki, Gatack, Beast, Brave, and of course Geiz. Unless you wanna count beyond the shows, in which case The First Rider 1 and 2 and maybe Amazon Neo.

For those who have painted SO-DO or SHODO figures for detailing, have y'all tried toothpicks for applying paint to small details before? Just got curious and wanted to know if anybody here tried it after I saw a few youtube videos of people doing it. It does seem effective because of the fine point edges.

Not with candy figures but I did this with FRS. It worked the best with small details as you said, especially parts that are raised or have a groove sculpted around it

Damn, only five figures plus a weapons set? That means a case will have four dupes. They could've at least done Ryugen or some other Gaim Rider. It's really hard to justify getting them by the case nowadays, I think I'll just wait to pick them up individually off Mandarake.

Huh, come to think of it the roster is relatively short compared to previous releases by one or two characters.

The last three waves were six, so dropping down to five so soon really stings. I liked the convenience of buying these by the case, but I'll basically be getting a full set of dupes minus one for the slot for accessories.

Honestly if they shrunk the case as well I'd be fine. It's the fact that it's the same price for more dupes that bothers me. If it was the same cost-per-figure breakdown but at a lower overall price I'd accept the reduction of unique moulds.

Though this wave is especially egregious because Amazing Mighty is basically just a redeco with a new leg, so it's really only about four unique moulds.

A nice selection if they did have to slim it down to the essentials, proportions on Legendary Legend look a little messy but I can believe that's due to working with plastic thickness on the collar not scaling well.

I would say the same about kamen rider wind LOL it's one off and killed so fast, crappy zi-o and geiz ride armor are like 50 yen each lolz, I do have Geiz genm armor

So... Chronicle Ex-Aid? A little surprised, given it's the first series that got So-Do figures during it's run to be remade in Chronicle, And I feel like a bit of a chump for buying for Shodo ones, but what can you do.

Overall looking pretty good. The proportions and articulation are definite improvements over the originals, which released almost 8 years ago *crumbles to sand*. I do wish that these had more paint and less stickers, especially due to the inconsistency between the painted and stickered silvers. The use of clear plastic for the visor and chest is a nice touch though.

While we get the core five here, I do hope we get a more comprehensive selection of Riders than Shodo gave us, and while I'm not expecting them to do everything at least the major upgrades would be cool. One of the promo images does highlight the ability to remove the chest, shoulders and belt, so...

While I haven't gotten any So-Do/Shodo for a good few years, I think I'll be in for these. I guess Blokees Transformers and So-Do Kamen Rider is doing a tag-team to get me back into model-esque 4 inch figure collecting.

Ugh. Just noticed that HLJ has pre-orders for Chronicle Ex-Aid, but it seems to be only in boxes of 12, so probably an extra Ex-aid. Look, I love him more than the next guy, but even I don't need duplicates.

I say keep the extra as spare parts or sell it or give it away to a friend.

The list of figures in the wiki don't show a SO-DO for this form. Was it never released? I also checked Geats, just in case this was a case of the figure being in the next line, as sometimes happens. But still nothing.

Actually, wait. Scratch that, a google search shows that it does exist, and given the limited colors on the box, it's probably a pack-in bonus to a DVD or magazine or something.

Someone should add it to the SO-DO Revice wiki page, I think.

Are there any other figures which aren't on the wiki pages? A quick search on yahoo auctions also shows a Saber TV-Kun figure, and a Build TV-Kun figure.

Nice. You know, I would love to see someone with painting skills give the gummy armor parts a candy paint job. I think the stickers (correct me if I'm wrong) hold up but a candy paint job would look nice on this.
