Actually, I agree with you. They should have been communicative on this because they had to have known people were going to expect it since it was a bonus in Japan because they have done so in the past.

Why not Figuarts of the Digidestineds? I remember a prototype of D-Arts Tai and Augmon where shown off ages ago. If the nostalgia hype train for Adventure 01 is kicking off soon then I can see it being possible.

those would be cool too, especially if they get to frontier and they do the kids along with their forms. though I imagine digi-destined figuarts would probably have a few hands, faces, and whatever items go with them. now I wanna see our wargame figuarts of the kids and an omegamon display base for matt and tai.

If the cape coming with the new Omnimon works, I say bring it on. They still really want to cash in on the Adventure nostalgia (and Tri I guess), which is a bit of a shame because I'd like stuff from later seasons. But Myotismon would be a good choice and getting a good cape on him and not the clunky massive plastic shells we've been getting would make him even better.

The original designer's edition Metalgarurumon just released in Japan and should be released by Bluefin at the end of August. It will probably match the new Omnimon more too.

Finally opened Captain America and Hulk this morning to mess with for just a little bit. I love them. I'm really impressed with the weight Hulk has when you hold him. Cap surprised me with the itty bitty piece you have to pop off to get his shield on his back (almost lost it right away), but I really like how it looks and glad he can even do it unlike the Figma one. Will probably display him like that and keep my Figma one using it as a weapon.

I would buy it.

I know more new stuff would be cool, but I missed out on Beelzemon and I would love to see a re-release too. Or even better, a new version like with Omnimon.

The bike would be a separate release though, no chance they put that in a set. I'd rather have wings, an alternate head and the gun arm to have Beelzemon Blast Mode.

Yes, Zeromaru would be amazing, in any shape or form.

Angewomon would be god awful. She would be such a bitch to pose with her 8 wings, the giant ribbon all around her body that floats over her head and wraps around her arms.
She would be incredibly limited in poseability because of their over designing her. Angemon isn't much better with his 6 wings, but he doesn't have an incredibly obtrusive cloth that fucks over everything.

Seraphimon isn't my cup of tea, only playing a bit role in Hurricane Touchdown and spending most of his time in Frontier as a Patamon, so he just doesn't seem as relevant as Angemon. Hell, at least MagnaAngemon got the killing blow on Piedmon, despite his pitiful amount of screentime otherwise.

I never read V-Tamer, so I can't comment on Zeromaru. However, I would like to see UlForceVeedramon merely due to his Royal Knight status.

Aside for my desire of Angewomon.... We really need Magnamon.

Battle Droid and Clone Trooper are possibly the next Star Wars SHF's, or it's a metaphor that they are tackling the Clone Wars next. Or both ;)

Honestly I'm much more down for these than for the prominent heroes I already own in one way or another. A battle pack would be awesome! Expensive but awesome.

This also just made me realize the Black Series hasn't even done a Battle Droid yet... Goddamn do they hate the prequels in that line.

So yeah, I'm absolutely up for this.

Maybe... that's where a battle pack would come in handy: Sell 3 Clone Troopers in a pack, color them differently, sell the normal one in stores. Same with the Droids.

Hmmm...I've said before I'm all in on the Star Wars SHFs, but I'd honestly have to think really hard if I would get clone and battle droids.

Which is a little ironic (?) as the main thing I collected when I was a heavy SW collector was Clones and Imperials. At one time I was army building them to the tune of like 10 of each rank. Maybe I'm just over tired of them at this point?

I really like the Phase 2 clones, because they look so much like storm troopers, so I'm sure I'd get one of those, but I'd probably skip any of the color variations. the Phase 1 clones I might avoid entirely, except for an ARC Trooper.

eh, i'm pretty ambivalent about the battle droids, but I can seem myself picking one up if the articulation looks good, and it's not released in an overly busy month for me.

I'd also be interested in getting Figuarts of the Ghost crew from Rebels, being CGI generated model should lend themselves well to the treatment.
