Not a terrible idea, but it has to be done carefully. Many people stereotype Japanese people as "ninjas", so this could be a dicey field. I do agree with someone who "already knows and has to explain", but I feel like it might mirror Shinkenger/Samurai too much.


P.S.: The shurikens will "survive", but the capacity is unclear. Parents already have problems with kids throwing things. The shurikens here will have to be illustrated as "toys", not weapons. It might be advantageous to excise "normal (fake), bladed star-things that can be used to hurt" from the arsenal and keep the specialized shurikens that are so integral to the plot as representatives of something more than just a little "star-thing you can throw".

I hope in 2017/2018 we don1t have another hybrid season.

The Gekirangers morphed by punching. Punching is a form of violence. Disney didn't what to get sued by angry parents, so they made Sunglasses morphers.

*bangs fists on the table* Operation Overdrive was fine! It just had a connected plot, and everybody raged cause change happened. And bad acting, but that is a staple of power rangers.
OO and SMF both used lots of japanese footage, but Overdrive used that footage in unique ways, and had a majorly different plot then Bokennger.
Super Megafall stuck to Gokaiger episode plots.

Well,i just say if they could hiring actress a little bit less skinny that's all.

That's still body shaming pal, and that's unnecessary in a discussion about a childrens show. Wanting Saban to hire a more diverse cast? Sure. But insulting the likenesses and figures of the people who have been in these shows and wanting something physically different is pretty distasteful.
