My teams isn't built for Triple/Rotation battles, i'm having a hard time fighting those in the Maison.
|
Built a team using 3 fossils.
It's not very good. There's no hiding the fact of how crap the team is, but I like these Pokemon so I'mma use them, dammit :lol |
It feels kinda weird, benching the starter. In pokemon games, it's kinda been this tradition of mine to play through the game entire game using whatever starer I picked as part of my roster but I dunno…I'm finding that Delphox just isn't that good…maybe it's just me?
For now, he's on rotation and I have Dragonair and Scissors as part of my current lineup, with Scissors replacing Lucario. I find it weird that the Kalros starters do not have Mega Evolutions |

Now I'm having thoughts on a very cool looking Greninja having a strawhawt in his mega evolution. |

Some stuff I heard that may or may not be true, but seems to be the case is that stone evolved Pokémon don't get Megas either. Explaining why Gardevoir can Mega Evolve but Gallade can't. |

Ok, I'm confused how is the Looker Bureau side-quest triggered?

So I finally made my official primary fun team after beating the elite 4 and just filling up the Pokedex last week.
Blaziken - lvl 100 Ren (Greninja) - lvl 93 Abyss (Garchomp) - lvl 60 Nexus (alakazam) - lvl 60 Tropius - lvl 31 (Working on him) Crimsion - Scizor And this is my seconday team that I am now focusing on. Ruby (Braxien) - lvl 24 (Thanks again OOO!) Pangoro - lvl 64 Gabutyra (Of course Tryantrum) - lvl 50 Pteragordon (Bagon) - lvl 16 Plezuon (Gyarados) - lvl 21 Stegotchi (Aggron) - lvl 46 |

Anyway, I want to train up a Greninja and name it Jiraiya after NinjaBlack from Kakuranger, but a friend I told this to earlier just reminded me of the Naruto character and now I'm conflicted... |

Has anyone built a team that was clearly terrible, but couldn't resist using them anyway? :lol
I just took a team consisting of Gigalith, Cradily, Magnezone, Greninja, Kabutops, and Omastar against a friend. His lead? Mega Lucario. I'm pretty sure you know how well that ended :lol |

I like Looker. I even got a Fedora. I needed a more...hard-boiled look.

And yeah. His Pokemon didn't last very long. :p Gigalith's Sturdy+Stealth Rocks means permanent annoyance. Magnezone's Sturdy+Thunder Wave's speed cut+Close Combat's defense/Sp. defense reduction means a Lucario that doesn't last long (He doesn't run Extremespeed, telling me he was relying on Lucario's very high speed and praying Thunder Wave's speed cut wouldn't make it slower than Magnezone). The rest of the battle was a typical battle, except one of our teams was not constructed well :lol Ultimately, I won because he underestimated his own Greninja (He didn't think his Greninja's Surf could take out my Kabutops while under heavy rain. I don't think he knew how utter crap Kabutops's Sp. defense is :lol) Ultimately, I figured using Gigalith's Stealth Rocks was the better investment than Earthquaking Mega Lucario. Chipping teams away is something I enjoy doing. Crippling rather than sweeping. I find it...Fun. |

I am still having trouble finding my way around Lumiose city. I don't know if anyone is still having trouble navigating the city. Regardless hope this helps.

Pokemon creepy pasta is nice and all, but they're just so outlandish that it's hard to get behind.
That's why the Pokedex can be so much fun sometimes. Why browse everywhere for boring tales of that dumb white hand in Lavender Town when you can read all about how Drifloon takes kids to hell (And proceeds to fail miserably because it's lighter than air :lol)? |

I've always used my starter as a niche Pokemon, rather than my primary battler (Well, after Pokemon that are good enough to qualify as a primary battler become available). It keeps a comfy spot on my team while simultaneously having an actual reason to be there beyond my own wide eyed inability to go through a game without my starter :lol
Also, Sceptile, Torterra, Serperior, and Chesnaught. Come Generation 7, I declare that I shall not pick the Grass starter in the first duo of games >.> |

(I've always took it as folklore, myself. Like, that's what parents used to tell their kids to stay out of the forest.) |

Is the pseudo-legendary of this generation really Goodra? I think I know which Pokemon to train next. :lol

Just got through victory road. I think this is one of my favourites. It didn't feel like a boring chore to get through (I think either D/P or B/W's did my head in!) and yet it had so many '*gasp* there's light I must be near the pokemon center!' Moments =p never take a unbalanced team through it. I decided to take a level 40 HM slave Blastoise, a doublade in the 40's, a goomy and a 40 something gabite then Tyrantrum and Pyroar (both in the late 60's/early 70's). So yeah I struggled a few times (mainly down to low pp and not having a poke that was super effective against my enemy) but it wasn't too bad, just harder then it could of been. Now I'm just heading back through to fight any trainers/get any items or pokemon that I missed with the other members of my team and goomy. |

You know, making only 70 new Pokemon this generation is a great idea. All the individual ones are so substantial and noteworthy. Even the resident bird, Talonflame, is so cool. |
Just crushed the 8th gym with Talonflame. Before I head to Victory Road, I think I'm going to breed/train an Eevee into Sylveon and train up either a Amphros, Jolteon, or Magnezone for my team. I don't really have anything on my team that can take down dragons and the only electric move I have available is thunderbolt, courtesy of Nidoking.
My current team: Talonflame - lv75 Greninja - lv76 Nidoking - lv73 Haxorus - lv71 Lucario - lv76 Sigilyph - lv73 Chesnaught was my original starter but dropped him in favor of Greninja and that lead to dropping Blastoise. |
According to Serebii they're making a Pokemon game with Pikablue as a villain!?

On another note, the poke-amie bonuses are awesome! Having your pokemon be able to dodge attacks, land harder hits, or gain extra exp is pretty cool. I think I'm going to take the time and get my entire team to full affection. |
