But I don't think I like panel lining very much. I tried it out on 7th Gundam and it didn't turn out so well. Also, I started the Master Grade GM Quel build last night. The sprues on this kit seem to be of a different quality plastic than I'm used to. Trying to clean up all the injection points is a nightmare so the head is looking pretty rough on mine. It's such an odd dark blue that it's just really hard to clean any of the scrap up without making it look bad. |
I highly suggest getting these for panel lining, they work soooooo much better then the Gundam markers:

Yea, I've heard those Gundam Markers get gunky. I'll have to try that stuff Kiryu.

Anyone have tips for getting a cleaner cut on my sprues? The head on my GM Quel has turned out awful because I can't seem to get a very clean edge. Can't seem to get the excess trimmed even with an exacto.

Got this in today, though i can't build it until after work:

I haven't built any Gundams, but in my experience, using a tool to remove parts from sprues is redundant. I just use my fangahs(although I did totally break the fold out handle on HyoRyu's gun crane thingy because of this).
