Yeah I just cant see how they can do completely without showing the fruit since the fruit dropping pretty much IS the Henshin.

Of course there will always be a way to avoid showing it like doing it off screen something that in my opinion is always an even bigger mood killer.

And I never wanted to argue about the fact that other shows did it so I guess we just werent clear on that point :lol

The only thing with Gaim at the moment is that I cant see them doing the henshin completely without the fruit with the current setup they use. Maybe a few weeks down the line they will present us a good alternative xD

Maybe instead of the fruit dropping it just appears and unfolds immediately, not actually looking like a fruit?

Though honestly I think the descending fruit could make for an awesoem moment, like Gaim turining into his "base" form and the orange slowly lowering as we see inside the fruit the orange pattern slide down into his visor, then it slowly unfolds before locking in place with his visor glowling.

What I could imagine is using close ups to "hide" the fruit dropping. Like having am extreme close up on the riders face while it gets covered up by parts of the armor and then when it unfolds the camera zooms out.

Lens flare!

They could speed it up, or have the armor materialize instead of falling down.

And I guess we are worrying over nothing, the next show may manage to top fruits in crazyness, PIÑATA ARMS!

Maybe they take the Kamen Rider Accel Idea even further and give us...VEHICLE ARMS!! I can totally imagine a giant Bus landing on top of the rider XD

The Shabadoobie could be - and frequently was - drowned out by the audio. I don't know if/how Gaim could skip over the fruit drop. You can't bury a visual under music or dialogue.

In either case, they're both examples of Bandai's toy gimmicks distracting you from the show.
