I feel like Saban could just stop filming new unmorphed scenes entirely and replace them with old stock footage from MMPR and there'd still be people who'd never criticize it.

i feel like people are too over critical of power rangers because of super sentai. megaforce was enjoyable and super megaforce has also been enjoyable.

they are by no where near perfect shows, but they are definately not as bad as people let them to be. i view power rangers with a different mindset of sentai. i know they are different things.

i think people have a right to be dissapointed, but as a fanbase we are way too overcritical of the smallest detail of power rangers. if you just sit back and enjoy what is given to us you will have a better time. its not perfect but its not that bad.

taking a year off during kyoryuger and just watching megaforce was one of the best decisions i made, it was very enjoyable

People aren't disappointed in Super Megaforce because it's not like Sentai. Are some people overcritical? Yeah. But like you said, they aren't anywhere near perfect shows so people are going to point out the flaws. Most people don't care if it's like Sentai or not, most people just want it to be good.

People blindly accepting whatever's thrown at them is just as bad as being overly critical, though.

ever since samurai i've seen nothing but complaining its not a perfect adaptation of the sentai. i'm not telling people to blindly accept it, but it is nowhere as bad as people make it out to be. i'm saying, instead of finding the tiniest thing to complain about, how about look at the positives, because really, megaforce and super megaforce have their flaws, but the good outweighs the bad

Really?! The main complaint about Samurai is that it IS just a copy and paste and paste of Shinkenger. Though, I guess it all depends on where you hang out.


Hey, I liked the first episode of Super Megaforce at least, but I felt Megaforce spiraled into a series of essentially twenty minutes of fight scenes with five minutes of the rangers chatting for a bit. So far Super Megaforce has been WAY better than that, but it still has its share of big problems that show Saban isn't gonna step their game up anytime soon.

I think quite a few people are not critical for it not being like Super Sentai, but rather critical for it not reaching the standards set by Power Rangers seasons before it. In my opinion at least, Power Rangers has given us much higher quality in the past, both in classic Saban and Disney. Arguably many of them aren't Sentai quality, but they're still well-produced shows.

Time Force is a good example because it was a direct translation that was STILL a good series. There's nothing wrong with using the same story as Super Sentai, but the adaptation has to be competent and well-produced.

I've seen so many people complain megaforce and super megaforce was not goseiger and gokaiger.

what if it was like the old days and we didn't have access to sentai like we do now, if we hadn't seen gokaiger, i am sure more people would be more on board for super megaforce

I didn't, Time Force and Dino Thunder were just the first two that came to mind. :lol
