I don't believe the preview reached where the Jetman The preview didn't actually reach any part with Jetman footage; its all Turboranger.

I almost want to say that Saban pitched the idea of "Power Rangers" but as a different name with Jetman but it failed bad. He tried again the next year using Zyuranger and it caught on due to the dinosaur combining mecha and such.

The pretty much excepted idea/rumor is that Jetman almost became the first Power Rangers season. But they ended up changing to Zyuranger. The reasoning for doing so never been made clear. Whether because Jetman is fairly adult and serious and wouldn't translate well for American kids, or for the simple fact that it was 1993, and dinosaurs were the unadulterated shit.

Well now that we know that Jetman was supposedly the originally proposed, then cancelled, first season of Power Rangers, I propose that someone fanfic this idea immediately!

As for this, its sloppy editing and could have easily been avoided, but after watching the clip again and reading through the thread I've become a lot less bothered about it. It's pretty blink and you'll miss it (and unless you know what you're looking for its just a pink blur), but like has been pointed out there have been far more glaring production errors in things in the past.

Until Saban randomly has a Japanese kid next to the Megazord in a fight sequence again, things like this seem minuscule :lol
